Dr. Visit, getting T levels checked??

Plan on visiting the Dr. to get all my baselines checked before starting a cycle in a few months but had a few questions.

Some things I know I need checked are:
Liver Values
Cholesterol (both of these are pretty standard bloodwork for a physical)
Testosterone levels.

My two questions are:

1) I just moved, don't have a regular physician yet, they have like a clinic here at the local hospital (not a free clinic) for daytime stuff like if you have a cold or anything that doesn't warrant an ER visit. Do you think I'd be able to just go there instead of looking around for a Dr. and trying to get an Appt. as this can be a pain in the ass.

2) How should I broach the subject of getting my test levels checked... Standard bloodwork usually only involves liver values and blood lipids (triglycerides & cholesterol). Should i just straight up tell him I plan on cycling and then I'd be able to follow up with him during/after to make sure everything's copasetic? Or should I just say something along the lines "i feel tired, irritable, and have no sex drive, i think i need my test levels checked"

Input appreciated.

Here is a suggestion if your planning on not telling the truth. You could possibly tell the Dr. that you have been taking a legal "prohormone" such as Superdrol and/or Phera Plex, both of which are liver toxic, or some other liver toxic legal compound. There are plenty out there. Explain, although it's OTC, that your labido has decreased dramatically and your concerned about your liver values and would like to get them checked. Just maybe the Doc will be accomodating and order the bloodwork. Although you could do a high dosage cycle of SD or PP, which I would not suggest, and then you wouldn't be lying haha. Good luck.

I doubt they will order the labs for you. These clinics dont have a follow up procedure to have you come back in for the labs. test levels are not something most hospitals run in house. Unless it is a big teaching hospital then maybe. i would guess the test levels are send outs. menaing they send them to a lab that runs them.

what about just making an appointment with a general practice guy around here and being straight-up with him? bad idea? anyone have any personal experience here?

Yeah, you'll need a GP, not a doc in the box.

You don't have to tell him why, just tell him you want the blood work done. Just give the impression you like to monitor that stuff closely, you're kinda a hypocondriach (sp?) and you like to get regular blood work.

BTW, get your psa (prostate) checked also.
