You don't need to be facetious, I am stating facts here. No one is getting a physical 'high' from steroids. The word "high" and steroids should NEVER be in the same sentense, as it will lead to a more problematic future for AS user. MTV 2 series will talk about the "HIGH" you get from taking steroids, just like pot? wasn't that what they said on Elitefitness....
You took the information completely
out of context.
http://www.mmsfitness.com/steroids/profiles/dianabol.htm
"The effect of Dianabol
promotes the protein synthesis, thus it supports
the buildup of protein. This effect manifests itself in a positive nitrogen balance and an improved well-being."
Protein synthesis can be increased in many other ways, including refeeds; thus, the correlation between protein sythesis and "getting high" is far reached. A lot of people feel good after they binge eat ice cream and cake, it doesn't mean cake and ice-cream are comparable to steroids. You read the last quote, but you failed to read the 'claimed' reason behind it. Either way, I think I will be adding a line to that profile saying
"STEROIDS DO NOT MAKE YOU HIGH".
