Downloading PS3 Games?

I just got a PS3. I'm trying gamefly.com for free, but I'd rather steal outright.

You use to be able to down load games but there was a crack down and I don't think there out there any more. Search game emulators.

ps3 is the only game console to not be hacked yet.

I don't know of anyone who's hacked and pirated ps3 games. Gotta admit, ms and sony made it hard to copy their games.

I think Xbox 360 has a chip you can buy, but I don't know how easy it is to dl and copy games. They're pretty big first off.

tru dat, some of the demo's that give you like....5 minutes worth of play are a gig or more.....

thats how the bluray won against the better quality HDDVD, because they have redundant and more secure encryption. I actually like HDDVD and do not much like sony.

better quality hd dvd? hd dvd topped out at 25 gigs of space as opposed to blu-ray's 50 gigs. how would that make for better quality of the discs held less data?

secondly, would you really want to download 30+ gigs for one game?

I have 4-10gb HD movies that are better quality than bluray

No I would never download a video game. I buy them. I have seen them for download but you cant do anything with them. But unfortunately I dont even play video games anymore as I like to play my 360 online and only can get DSL where my house is.

compression technology can only get you so far.

Games that I've seen thus far are generally around 5-8 gigs.

they might have figured out how to rip a game but there is no way to play them yet.

A lot of vg manufactures know about ripping, so they stock their game full of all kinds of media just to make the filesize big and make it hard to download. And that content is checked and part of the game, so you can't just 'delete' it.

Even Xbox live can't be hacked. If you go online and have a chip, boom - won't work.

Looks MS and Sony finally won the encrption battles. 10 bucks they hired hackers who do the hacking onto their side. That's usually how it works. So pirates now have to battle other pirates.

I do'nt care. A $40 Counterstrike or Star Wars BAttlefront II has lasted me thousands of hours of enjoyment.

p0ink, I understand what your saying. but I think the point hes trying to make is just because the space is there doesn't mean its always used. Just like most PS3 games...They are bluray but that doesn't instantly mean they are 1080p in fact at least initially the majority were not. I don't know if this is still the case today though.
