Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

Alright..... I admit it. I didn't do a good job of planning my meals out today.

I'm 230 lbs at 17% bf and I'm working my way down to 10% bf.

I normally work at night, but had to pull a day shift today, and only brought shakes with me to eat. I had a 50 g protein, 2 tbs flax seed shake at 8am and another one at 11 am.....

Around 1pm the pain hit and I caved. I ate the McDonalds bad boy. I haven't had one in months.... but I caved.

Oh well....maybe my leptin levels will rise. I'll offset when I get home and eat the rest of my healthy meals for the day and hit it hard in the gym. And for what it is worth, I did take my Glucorell-R, ginger root, and L-carnitine!

I suppose one step back won't be such a factor if I take 20 more forward!

Anyone ever been here before?

If the burger didn't push you into maintenance or beyond in terms of energy balance, you'll have lost weight anyway.

No big deal to have a cheat meal every now and then. Helps keep you sane.

Is one every 3-4 hours too much?

Next time you are faced with a similar situation, you should eat the burger sans bun. While the higher fat patty and cheese are not optimal sources of protein, you will not be ingesting the ultra-refined bun which is your greatest nemesis.

Sometimes I'll take a couple of powdered jelly doughnuts and put a reeces peanut butter cup right in the middle of them and heat it in the microwave for just a few seconds.Give that a try fter the Quarter pounder....sorta like a dessert.

Also depends how old you are. A few years back I'd go for the occaisional quarter-pounder post-workout. (always stopped short of bacon though) . Didn't seem to hurt even when I was cutting. This is something I don't do nowadays though...
