Dorian at his BEST

he has seroius back. when he does a lt spread you cant even see light between his lats and his elbows!!

yeah, but thats one reason I like him. Im like a lot of guys here, i prefer that "arnold" look.

Im not a big fan of the huge monsters we got on stage these days. :coffee:

I agree with that, he definitely doesn't have any distension. It's just strange how much different the guys look today than they did then. Totally different look. He look great, just no where near the size of today's top pros.
 
He was like Lee Haney, around 250-255 at comp time. Compare that to Ronnie, 293 at about the same height ( 5'10" - 5'11" ).

Dorian looked awsome, his arms always lagged though.

That's what is sad w/ the size of guys today - the whole aesthetic is gone and its all about freak size.

Dorian is not the most eloquent guy on the planet so, "Dont' talk honey, just stand there & look good...."

LMAO! If you think that's bad you should hear Ronnie Coleman, talk about akward. Dorian does look good, even though he has a mini-mullet in '94. The physiques look totally different now! I liked the tighter looks of those cats. I never noticed how much different they were until I was at the Olympia.
 
Yes I've heard Ronnie speak many times....

The size is even worse when they are "off season" -- god how miserable. I wonder if they still get laid when they are fat.
 
Dorian is the reason for the mass monsters today. Between him and Nasser they were the first ones to really jack up the GH and slin usage. Dorian had a huge GH gut in his later years.

Yep, Dorian was one of the first to have pretty noticeable distension.
 
Funny how now i look at him and think he looks small compared to Cutler or Coleman. His quads dont have enuff sweep and whats up with that atrophied left bicep?LOL Now 10yrs ago I was blown away. I mean its still awesome, but Cutler is just fucking freaky. Ill probably be saying the same things about Cutler in 10yrs if it keeps going the way it is.
 
Lou Ferrigno was the first one with a gh gut when he made that come back in the early 90's (90-94). It was really bad at the first Master's O. People claim he was using thousands in gh weekly. It's sort of ironic it was a guy from the golden era who ended up ushering in the mass monsters and gh guts.

It's sad that we are looking at videos of guys from just a few years back and saying how 'small' they are. Just goes to show how out of line it had gotten. It's good to see they are killing off the mass monster look and going for what it should be about, a complete package. The placings at this Olympia were a good sign of things to come as well as the spring and summer show outcomes. Seeing a blocky mess like Branch out of the top ten and a tall, athletic freak like Toney Freeman in the top 10 was a nice change of pace.
 
Dorian's 96 was pretty sick! His routine and his look were amazing. I personally think that eventually guys are just gonna start dropping like flys (die) and will make a new era of smaller BB'er. I think the whole size thing has gotten out of hand, at a certain point it just started looking stupid. There should be max weights depending on height and bone structure.
 
thats actully him in 95, they got the date wrong

also the one before that was form 94, the year he tore his bicep, note how he hides it
