Sorry, I was at the new gym trying to devise a way to do t-bar rows without a v-bar handle. I also tore one of their new towels trying to do suspended crunches. (Hey, the old gym had nicer towels that held up to this.)

I abhor public fitness centers with bright lights, shiney mirrors and dozens of televison screens. But at least this place has several DL platforms and a chalk stand.

You get ridiculed for saying pop around here. It's soda.

And no one around Milwaukee says "eh". That's another Canadian thing. Actually, come to think of it, we will use "eh" as a shortened version of "hey". So I'll be, like, "Eh Steph, what's up?". Kinda like Rocky saying, "Eh yo." Actually, we say, "eh yo" sometimes as well.

that's so weird because half of my entire family lives in southern wisconsin (Racine, Janesville, Brookfield as well as Madison) and I'm pretty sure they all use the word "pop" instead of soda.

There is a definite distinction in how they talk vs how I talk.
