Don't Cops Have Better Things To Do?

If it's anything like UK police, they'll go after soft targets like the above so as to meet their monthly quota for arrests, cautions, etc. & justify their budgets.

WOW... this is just DUMB!! When did the police become the fasion police?

So with this new law... If a plumber is working under the sink and his crack shows can he get a ticket for it?

What are the chances of a Lawyer trying to make a name for themself(and a few bux),taking this to the supreme court and making a class action(is that what its called) law suit against the city costing them TONS of money? HR?

I hate saggy pants, good arrest those fuckin hoodies ghetto rats.

the funny part is in the corner the two black girls saying this

Senita Abrams, 18, left, and Tia Cotton, 17, both of Flint, express their admiration Monday for males who wear sagging pants. “I think it’s cute when boys sag,” Abrams said. But Flint’s top cop disagrees.

wtf is cute about someone walking think they just shit their pants ?
I dont get these kids,

In my town if you wear saggy pants at night walking around without a shirt the cops arrest you for being a male hooker.
Just saw that on the local news, cops said they were staking out " boi's" and found a gang of man-gina's and all wore no shirts with saggy pants and pulled tricks walking up and down a buzy road in the bad part of town.

when the voting politic enacted laws and legislation telling them to do so
the ignorance is astounding

it's a misconception that cops are inventing these laws to enforce
they are told what laws to enforce
don't blame the hard working cops, blame the voters for wanting that type of enforcement
and michigan represent

The voters?
That's silly bro
People vote for politicians... More often then not the voters are unaware of their activities after the fact.

Anyway, When did the voters create indecent exposure laws?
Secondly it sounded to me that the police in Michigan were interpreting the law in their own manner and then enforcing it.

Bino, pull up your fuggin pants and that sideways hat looks ghey.

the people vote for politicans who will enforce and create laws suited to their needs and desires.
if a politican enacts a law that is widely not favored you can kiss his career good bye.
and if the police are wrongly interupting this law, then the courts will see that it is sorted out.
odds are, with flint being a largely black city, a black politican created this law/initiated its enforcement, and the population is proly in agreeance.
do you honestly think police officers want to enforce such laws as this?
it's a nusiance to them

No I don't think the patrol officer driving around wants to enforce them. But this Dicks guy who took over on an interim basis sounds like he is just trying to make a name for himself. I don't know if he started it of if someone put the pressure on him to do it, but none the less I still think this will end up in the courts once/if people actually start getting ticketed and arrested for this offense. Especially if the defendant didn't even have their crack showing and it was just their boxers.

Now that makes sense to me
Was this police chief elected or was he a promotion from within that police department?

Not sure... thats pretty much what it said in the article...

And I'm not saying its good or bad... but if they are trying to tell us how to wear our clothes whats next? Maybe its just my opinion but its not like these guys or girls are walking around with their asses hanging out with no underwear.... aside from a little crack.

been to the beach lately? what some women where on the beach is much closer to "indecent exposure" than this is.... Not that I want that to stop.

Never thought anyone here would be from Flint. Went downhill very fast there.
i'm definetly not from there
from the northern part of the state...i just worked and lived there for a while
and i disagree about going downhill fast, it was a steady decline starting in the 70's and peaking in the 80's
flint used to be a hotspot for those seeking a good factory job, peeps came from all over the midwest/south to work/live there
a shell of it's former self

I lived in Flint for 20 years. To me, it went down very fast, and today it is almost desolate besides the couple of colleges around.

No problem at all bro. I know what you're saying. Bounce back? As in the way it used to be in its prime? I dont think it will happen. I hope that something positive happens for the place, but it just seems like there isn't enough money to fix the 3 million holes in the roads much less the abandoned buildings.

Something incredible would have to happen, and with all the big industry packing up and moving to Mexico or China I just don't see it happening.

they do it just for probable cause so they can get better charges
