Domestic deliveries

Isnt it illegal for someone to open a package not addressed to them?

I know that customs can sieze a package, but what if you get one sent from a domestic supplier.........?

Is there an almost non existent chance of getting busted with a domestic source?

It seems to me that you odds are a lot better to order from a domestic source, but maybe its just me.....any input would be greatly appreciated.

Both international and domestic mail orders have legal risks. Amongst the more common reasons a domestic package can lead to an arrest include:

1. The source is busted and the agents execute a controlled delivery.

2. The package is sent via a private mail carrier (FedEx, UPS) and the package is opened pursuant to a "leak," etc., AAS are identified, and the local authorities are notified.

3. Something about the package is suspicious, the authorities are notified, probable cause is established, a search warrant is procured, AAS are identified, and a controlled delivery is executed.

Bro, in this game you are never 100% safe. Most of the time domestic orders get nabbed is because the source gets busted, and then they just track the orders to where ever they are going. It is all down hill from there.

Thanks for the replies......if you didnt hear from a source after you sent the western union info........what would you do?

Check to see if your money was picked up?

Clean out your house!

Make sure to not accept any packages????????????????/

Just an FYI I'm sure the Feds don't want you to know...

Sometimes when a source is busted and agrees to cooperate, they will allow the source to continue to communicate with his clients so that they may set up more controlled deliveries. This is not common however. Even more uncommon, but still plausible, is that the Feds actually use the sources computer or email address to continue to solicit potential busts.

This is not common however. Even more uncommon, but still plausible, is that the Feds actually use the sources computer or email address to continue to solicit potential busts.

That's the truth... I have heard of TWO instances of this happening. I know your office might be familiar with some of them (perhaps not the same instances "I" know of, but other ones)...

The feds can be very tricky... never take them lightly or think you can outsmart them... well... reading legal muscle is a good start to avoid pitfalls...
