Doing your own work is so over rated

This is the first semester of my college career that I haven't had someone in my classes "help" me out or cheat... well maybe not cheat. Doing your own work is so much more time consuming. I can't believe I made it this far always having people willing to do my shit for me.

It certainly helps to have a strong work ethic and take pride in your own work.

the dumb thing is that in every job you have, except for emergency (or time sensitive) type careers, you usually have some sort of reference that you can go by. The more complex, the more this seems to be true. You may not USE them, but they are generally available for reference. Just IMHO.

sure you can manage to do your own work for everything and do really good, but then you can cheat and get it much easier...

or you can work your ass off AND cheat and do all the better- its impossible to compete in this world without the latter

Most definately agree. I worked for john deere as networking customer service type person and you really didn't have to know shit. I had all the manuals and everything right in front of me. I can't remember half the stuff I was doing now, though It sucks when you realize how easy some of these college classes would be if they didn't require memorization of so many technical things. My JAVA programing class is like this. I can write programs no problem, but when it comes to writing them from memory it's about 10x harder.

All my friends get so pissed when they see i don't do shit and have random ass girls doing all my work for me or seeing that i put shit off untill even after the due date, the teacher gives me an extesion, and somebody offers me the work they already did. I was blessed with the abilitly to smooth talk my way into getting what I want. It has come at the price of having to mess with girls emotions but that is their own doing, not mine.

I believe this is very true when transfererred into the "real world."

Even in the real world you will have some one to help you out. I don't see why some people get so uptight about doing all the work yourself. The greatest people in the world didn't accomplish all their feats by themselves...
