But seriously, them charging you to do that is normal. Sometimes banks charge per statement, so if it's just an hourly fee to find something they most likely have archived as an e-file you should be fine.

If the person is going to work at government speed that should only cost you $735. My dad probably has every statement going to back to 1971 or something.

pretty normal, though i've never heard of an hourly rate.

Only charging hourly? Count yourself lucky. I've heard of banks charging $1.50 and up per page.
