Does weed lose its potency after time?

If yes, what are some good ways to perserve it? Does freezing it work?Or what about in ziplock bags?

if its dro it may get a little dry but it really doesnt lose much potency

dro will dry up but get you just as high but the hits will be harsher. Some people throw an orange peel in the bag, others throw a q-tip dipped in water in the bag, but I dont throw any of that shit in cause it makes it wet and a pain in the ass. I keep mine in a tupperware.
