I just wanted to know if any of you bro's use tribestan for post cycle? I'm limited on clomid and was wondering if the tribestan would do the trick or not?

realy not enought research to know for sure, sure alot of marketing hype, dude stick with the clomid, HCG,
gluteimine and creatine post cycle I have found helps out quite a bite in spareing muscle tissue, what ever you do dont relay on tribestan as your only post cycle treatment:fro:

I think it's bollix.

the main research papers are by some obscure indonesian university possibly in the pay of sopharma bulgaria - the original marketer of tribulus extract..

And sopharmas original papers conducted amazingly by sopharma.. yeh... tribulus works!!

No hang on...

Does fuck all for me.

Clomid is obviously better. And cheaper.

And don't say Protodioscin. They are just trying to be clever bastards. Protodioscin my arse.

My experience has been the same as Gary's...waste of $$. Here is a study I turned up. The dosages are pretty low, but you'd think there would be some effect...

The effects of Tribulus terrestris on body composition and exercise performance in resistance-trained males.

Antonio J, Uelmen J, Rodriguez R, Earnest C.

Human Performance Laboratory, University of Nebraska, Kearney, NE 68849-3101, USA.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the herbal preparation Tribulus terrestris(tribulus) on body composition and exercise performance in resistance-trained males. Fifteen subjects were randomly assigned to a placebo or tribulus (3.21 mg per kg body weight daily) group. Body weight, body composition, maximal strength, dietary intake, and mood states were determined before and after an 8-week exercise (periodized resistance training) and supplementation period. There were no changes in body weight, percentage fat, total body water, dietary intake, or mood states in either group. Muscle endurance (determined by the maximal number of repetitions at 100-200% of body weight) increased for the bench and leg press exercises in the placebo group (p <.05; bench press +/-28.4%, leg press +/-28.6%), while the tribulus group experienced an increase in leg press strength only (bench press +/-3.1%, not significant; leg press +/-28.6%, p <.05). Supplementation with tribulus does not enhance body composition or exercise performance in resistance-trained males.

I used it along with clomid... not sure if it did anything, but I had some laying around so I figured what the fuck... I must admit I did have abnormally high sex drive and Peter North like loads, so maybe it did work.

I don't know about for post cycle, but I do know when I take it I have to cart my nuts around in a freakin wheel barrow and the pumps in the WR are unbelievable. Brands vary ALOT so if you want a good source, email me.

steeljay, trib, doesnt do shit for a post cycle...i tried it on my last cycle with no hcg or clomid...and guess what?
i lost everything that i gained....what a waste of money!!!
just my little imput for the month or so...
PB...:fro:

I was wondering too I have used it before while i wasn't juicing and it got me horny as hell well maybe it was the wellknown placebo effect. I think i'll stick to chlomid the next time

I always include tribulus post-cycle- along with HCG and clomid- and honestly can't say if it actually keeps gains better than without-but if you get a good quality brand- you will definetly notice an increase in sex drive, load volume, and hardon intensity. I sometimes wake up in the AM's with a sore dick from it being stiff all night, and that definetly came from the tribulus, because it never happened on just the clomid, HCG, proviron etc. I've just kinda convinced myself that those effects translate to higher natural test levels-therefore, the ability to retain gains better post-cycle.Not very scientific, though...
