Does Tren super supress HDL?

Does Tren suppress HDL more than other steroids? I'm trying to get mine up because it is horrible. I just finished my tren cycle so how long should it be before it start rising again? My LDL was horrible also. I have goten it down from 252 to 153 but the HDL is taking it's sweet time going up.

Yes, BIG time....tren is a very strong androgen, so it messes everything up considerably.... maybe not so much liver enzymes, but still to some degree

the key is too not stayon it too long or go crazy with the dosage.

1) what was your HDL
2) what was your cycle doses and lenght

You ready for this? After years of fucking around and not getting checked on a regular basis or keeping a clean diet I finally started going to a bodybuilding nutritionalist who has started me up on a contest diet. My initial LDL was 253 and HDL was.....16......Fucking horrible. All pretty much gear induced. Since my tren cycle has ended about 3 weeks ago I have gone from 253 down to 153 but my HDL has only gone up a few points as of yet. He says HDL takes a bit longer to get back on track but has had me eating 1 pound of fish for dinner for the last 2 weeks and I am limited to red meat once a week until I get back on track. I have gone from 14.2 bodyfat down to 10.1 as of yesterday. I am shooting for 5% or lower in the next 3 or 4 months. I was on tren for 8 weeks at 100mg a day.

The best thing to do to increase HDL=Cardio!
Reducing red meat and increasing fish is a good thing but it will take up to 6 months to get anywhere like that.
Cardio on the other hand is the best.
I pretty much do cardio if I'm bulking or cutting, it does not matter and it makes a difference. After 6 months on, I waited like 2-3 months and had blood worked on HDL was 55.
i was happy as a pig in shit...LOL

He's adding cardio within the next week or so to my regimen. I think he wants to find my stick point with food where I stop losing weight before he throws in the cardio. He's playing with my caloric intake at the moment.

my doc is convinced that your hdl/ldl--and the amount of change caused by external agents has more to do with genetics than anything---the only way to know is get a baseline and then test (no pun intended) at different times in the future (on/off/middle)

THe bottom line is that you might need to ease out on the protein a bit. Even fish has cholesterol depending on the fish. Not sure by eating 2lb daily how is going to affect you.
Just as suggestion this is what I eat while off to improve my lipids, oats 1 cup daily, Chicken breast lean daily grilled , fish 2-3x a week grilled, Egg whites daily, soy drinks daily, Red meat 1x week , milk lowfat sparingly,
I'm sure you might know all this but I figured I'll throw it in there

I'm usually on Test E/Deca with Tren but will be doing Anavar/Winny as I get leaner. At just over 9.5% and will do the anavar/winny once I lose a few more percent.

these are some supp's that will help protect you while you are hdl-impaired and will also help you more quickly normalize your lipid numbers once you come off.

Some have had success keeping HDL up and LDL down while on with these, it might be dose dependent on the offending compound. When I went above 50mg Anavar - oxandrolone - , nothing prevented my HDL from temporarily disappearing.

But some of the supp's below (especially the garlic, grape seed extract, and fish oil) provide a substitute HDL function while you are impaired - preventing/reducing new plaque formation and flushing ldl. The garlic studies are the oldest and haven't been negatively critiqued in any serious way thus far.

1) policosanol 20mg evening (+hdl, -ldl, blood thinner also)

2) garlic - cardiac formula dose of garlique or garlicin etc (acts as a substitute/super hdl, clearing ldl and reducing new plaque formation - also a blood thinner)

3) Niacin or inositol hexanicotinate (noflush niacin) - (one of the few substances to raise hdl - the niacin is preferred, but flushing and liver sides)

4) red yeast extract - a natural form of lovastatin, the same ingredient found in prescription stain drugs - (- ldl)

5) psyllium seed husk products/ hi fiber diet (-ldl )

6) diet high in unsaturated fats ("good fats" from vegetbles) mostly monostaurated fats which will raise hdl (olive oil, peanut oils, walnuts etc)

7) cardio, 30 minutes 3x weekly - even brisk walk - (increases hdl)

8) obviously a diet low in "bad fats" (saturated fats- meat and diary, and trans fats)

9) Fish Oil supplements or fish (better balanced than omega-3 pills) reduce risk of CV event and plaque formation .

10) Grape Seed Extract (-ldl, maybe +hdl, more important prevent oxidation of ldl and plaque formation) - similar protection as garlic during hdl-impaired periods such as during cycle and proximate post-cycle

Some of us have a genetic cholesterol gene that requires medication. NO amount of cardio or carrots will lower it. So as a last resort get on some Lipitor, Zocor, etc. They require bloodwork too.... So you can have
"medically necessary" labs done that are covered by most insurance programs.
I have been on Statin drugs for 10 years. My lipid panels are perfect.
And no sides. :)
