Using HCG at 5000ius ALL AT ONCE!? In one shot!?
DMI said:I remember jenetic told me that's one way of doing it.
bigtravis said:not to say your trainer doesn't know anything but i've never heard of 5000 every other week. during my pct i wait one week from the last shot and then every 5 days it's like this. 5000,5000, 2500,2500,1500 along with clomid 100ed for 2 weeks then down to 50ed for 3 weeks. but my pct is based on 42-44 weeks of cycles.
bigtravis said:o.k. now it's a little more clear. i wouldn't say 5000 eow. but i would consider 500i.u. every 5 to 7 days but that would be if you were running for a ggod while.
Thats too much bro and actually I dont think its help alot througout the cycle... For medicine use doc would make you take 250-500iu every 3-5days for few monthsCarth said:This is NOT for a PCT. Like I said...my EX-Trainer whom I fired as of yesterday...was telling me to use HCG at 5000ius Every other week throughout the whole bulking cycle.

slyder190 said:Was this why you fired her or was there more to the story?
Carth said:Well....tell that to Needsizes' trainer. That is what she wanted me to do. Take fucking 5000ius ALL AT ONCE every other week!
alltraps said:bro, she is a PRO, as in PRO bodybuilder! shes not a kid behind a computer keyboard. she knows her shit. she knows more then 99.9% of the people on this forum, and its not from speculation or guessing, its from experience. experience working with other pro bodybuilders, as well as majority of the guys and girls that place on top of every show in canada. so saying she doenst know what shes talking about is ignorent. i really hope u fired her for reasons other then the HCG regiment....
slyder190 said:Okay, I'm gonna give my .02. but I will do so without really trying to pick sides on this situation. I'll tell you straight what I think though. I have never worked under any training or guidance from Laura Binetti, so i can't comment on how well she may or may not be with training or diet advice. Now, as far as Swole Cat is concerned, I never really asked him to mant really TECHNICAL questions, or A LOT of "simpler" ones shall we say. like waht about this instead of this, or can I do that instead of this, or what about if...you get the picture. Swole answered every single question I ever had and was happy to do so. I swear the guy LOVES answering his e-mails and the questions that come in them. He's them an in that respect. Yiu can e-mail him like 100x a day and he HAPPILY answers every question, and very quickly. I don't think I ever waited more than hour for a response. I have only takem on his services for a month at a time here and there. His diet plans worked well for me and gave me a basic understanding of how to kind of wing it myself, it got me in the right direction, by using diets that are much like the ones he had for me. I have tweaked things to the current day to work for me, but it was his underlying groundwork and guidance that got me on a better diet track. His training program a few years back was set up by a guy names Silverback I think. he couldn't really answer training questions that well, cuz he just went by what Silverback layed out as a general plan. He answered what he could, but it wasn't his game like diet was, and I couldn't really get in good with Silverback, as he wasn't taking on clients. The program he set up for SC's clients sucked to be honest with you.neverg ot any stronger or bigger using that routine, even while bulking according to SC's plan. and the diet was fine, it was the program, even when upping calories, it never did jack shit for me. and SB claimed that if you weren't growing, training, rest or diet were not in place, and beleive me, mine was. So the training program part was useless IMO. So that's the scoop.
heavy_duty said:Carth, were you asking her questions or giving her a biology test?
heavy_duty said:Well I don't know who SwoleCat is but any professional trainer should be able to answer all your questions. Your doctor answers your questions so does your dentist your mechanic and your lawyer. Hell even the guy at Home Depot has logical answers.
JuicedAthletics said:I have been working with Chris, SwoleCat for over 4 years now. I have been with his training and nutrition since he started up.. He is a nutritional gyru. The guy is amazing with his knowledge as well as patience with his teachings. He tore both of his knees two years ago and didnt miss a beat with his clients.. His programs work and he has a huge line of followers. He is a true consultant. I reccommend his services to anyone looking to take the guess work out of diet and training. Even if you just use his info as a base, you will not go wrong. Currently I have all three of his programs... Solid guy. Big bump for SwoleCat. By the way, he looks pretty damn good as well...
slyder190 said:And Carth, there's no info on your girl's site as far as personal training.
Carth said:I know! BWAHAHAHAHA![]()
Luckily for me, I know where she trains down here in South Beach. So I just walked up to her and asked her for training. She agreed. But it wasn't easy.
She called her husband and her brother and told me to wait about 10 minutes. They arrived and they all brought me to her office. Then they told me to get down to my undies. They looked at me up and down. Then looked at each other, and in spanish said..." he has a good build ". And they all said at the same time...yes. We will train you.
wellbilt said:i always wondered about the dosage of hcg
it comes in 5000iu and up doses do doctors really dilute it to use it a lower dosage or is it meant to be injected all at once
it makes u wonder
personally i use 250mg 2 times per week during long runs to keep the boys happy and it seems to work ok
slyder190 said:Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Lol. So another words, they're very selective about who they will train. The one time I've spoken with her, she seemed to be quite willing to answer most of my questions. Id be interested to find out how the training goes with these guys.Carth said:I know! BWAHAHAHAHA![]()

As far as your ex-trainer goes. I cant speak for Beniti's knowledge about training phylosophies, but this is why I always say that being big doesnt automatically qualify someone to give out training advice. There are so many big guys out there that have no idea how they got to where they are today, and that I would never take advice from. Many people only follow what their guru tells them to do, and have no reasoning or understanding as to WHY they do the things they do. If you felt this was the case with Beniti then you were right to change trainers.
needsize said:and for anyone who missed in my my "trainer" post, here is an example of what she has done. The dude on the right is a buddy of mine, she starts working with him, hes 240lbs(already pretty damn big), after less than a year and a half, he's walking around at 288lbs with abs. Then she put him on stage at almost 240lbs for his first show.
Can I expect you to look like this carth after 1.5 years with your new trainer?

maldorf said:I have used 5000 IU in one injection at the end of the cycle to prepare for pct. I never had any problems with this. The only thing I do not understand is why she would reccomend doing the injection once every other week. Serum test levels begin to drop rapidly 5 days after an injection, so that your endongenous test production would be going on a rollar coaster. I looked the matter up in an old physiology text book from college and it even has a graph that shows how blood serum test levels follow a biphasic course and then drop rapidly after 5 days. Anything longer than once every 5 days does not make any sense to me.

just wondering (on the real) how many times did you PM swole & NS?
needsize said:I wasnt exagerating
Carth said:![]()
I keep forgetting that there is a law in Canada that states that all PMs must be answered or else the Prime Minister will get very angry and hit the person with a hockey stick.
needsize said:are you really that big of a tool?
If I didnt answer your pm, you would pm me back within an hour or two, asking if I got the last one, then asking the question again. If you sent me a pm with 6 questions, and I only answered 4, you would immediately pm me back and ask the two I missed again. I never clean out my pms, so I still have all of them
I had no problem helping as much as I could, but in several you came out and told me you thought I was lying about some things, then all this trash talking about a trainer who I hugely respect, with no basis, well it leaves it very tough to have any respect left for you at all....not that I think you really care
slyder190 said:
needsize said:the scan I sent was because you thought you were too smart, and doubted my education and the success I had there, like I would feel the need to lie to someone on the internet about that of all things
You are wondering why this has me so irritated, just because its my trainer, I thought with you being as smart as you claim to be, that you would have gotten the fact that I'm pissed about all the time I took over the last year or so, answering endless pms, many times the same questions over and over again, to have you disrespect me in the way that you have in the last little while.
I havent turned this into a brawl, but will if you want to persist, you have acted like a jackass since this started(and the massive amount of karma I've gotten shows I'm not the only one that thinks so). You dont want a brawl, then stop talking shit about things you know nothing about, and I'll happily drop it
needsize said:are you going to drop this bullshit or not?
You know pretty much nothing about laura, her training, or anything else to dow with her, unless following a couple workouts makes you an expert.
I have a huge amount of respect for her, as I have seen what she can do, time and time again, so having you trash someone I feel that way about, where you have no basis in which to do so, is going to cause me to react with anger. And a lot of the disrespect i am referring to is stuff in emails and pms to me, telling me I am lying about things, that kind of stuff, hell of a way to show you appreciate all the time someone took to answer all your questions to the best of his ability
Carth said:So then what do you recommend for somebody like me that is always on Test HRT?
Themachine01 said:I love this, you wont take the advice of a well respected trainer, but your going to ask the advice of some bro named waldorf on a message board, lol. NS has been in this game for a long time now and has pretty much taught himself everything he knows and got to where he is today on his own. I have heard him say nothing but good things about Laura's training and dieting which was enough to make me consider paying for Laura's services. NS wants to get ready for his comp and knows that listening to her, whether she has scientific evidence to back up everything or not, she will get him to in the condition that he wants to be in, better than he has ever looked. You know why he trusts her bro, because of the results that her techniques have given to other top level competitors that trust her as well, not because she has scientific data to back everything up.
If you want to be a trainer bro, than go to school for it, dont try and take classes from another trainer. You are paying a trainer to train you and give you her advice, shes not there to teach you the ins and outs of how everything scientifically works, thats what school is for bro, go take a fucking personal training course. If you want to put size on or get prepared for a show, than you hire a trainer and you listen to their advice without questioning it, if it works it works.
I understand Needsize's frustration with this whole thing, whether your talking about just his trainer or not, it is someone that he has gained a lot of respect for, therefore he is going to stick up for her.
If you want science than take a fucking science class, if you want to put muscle on and make changes to your physique than hire a trainer and listen to them. By you following their advice you are learning, so I dont want to hear that fucking "teach a man to fish" bullshit, if you try something new that she tells you to do, and it works, then you have learned something, whether or not you know the science behind it or not, you know that it works.

It's OK to voice your opinions about shit. But being this is a forum, you gotta be able to handle how other people feel about the subject. You seem really quick to lose your cool whenever somebody goes a little against the grain of your opinions.
You say that this trainer basically sucks and doesn't have the knowledge you're seeking? Whether or not this is true, N.S. has every right to chime in disagree with your assesment of her. He obviously knows her well enough to offer his opinion on what your saying. It's no reason to get all defensive and carry on like a man child. I mean, look how you responded when he posted pictures of his buddy to show you she does know a thing or two, pretty childish!
Now, before you fly off the handle on me, let me just say that I have no beef with you or anyone else. I'm just giving you my opinion. That's what these boards are all about! If you don't like it, start up a daily Blogger site where you can say whatever's making your ass ache and nobody can argue back to you.
Carth said:This is what Swole Cat says. Oh you didn't know? Your ass better call somebody!
Carth said:Thank you!
maldorf said:Whoa, some dude named Waldorf, lol! Carth is just a person that wants to know the reasons why he is being asked to do something, because he has trouble following someone blindly into doing something. I can see why he might ask opinions on this board about his question, because he is trying to gather ever bit of information/opinion he can about the matter and then make his decision off of that. To me that is just science in action, and makes for a wiser decision. I myself would have trouble doing things differently if the trainer did not know the reasons behind doing them.
Now there seems to be undeniable evidence, as seen in her clients, that she produces results. I think you would have to throw science aside and give her methods a fair shot before discrediting her. To me this is kind of like having faith in God, there is not any physical evidence but you just have to believe. I think it is unfair to undercut this trainer in this fashion.

Themachine01 said:Dieting can be very complicated when broken down scientifically and I really just dont have the time or energy to break down everything for every client that explains why I have them eating this or that, they just follow my advice because they know that they will see results if they do.
Oh, and my bad maldorf![]()

Themachine01 said:This is exactly my point. You hire a trainer to train you, you do as they tell you and trust them, thats the whole point. You dont question their knowledge, they made a name for themselves through results and previous clients. When choosing a trainer you look at their background and the results that they have produced through their other clients, maybe even talk with their other clients and past clients. Once you have done this and you decide to hire them then you listen to their advice, do what they tell you, and dont try to prove them wrong, if you think that you know more then train your fucking self. You are not hiring a trainer to sit you down and teach you the science of how carbohydrates work, you take their advice and then if your curious either look the shit up on the internet and maybe even ask them, if the trainer decides to tell you then so be it. I started doing diet consulatations a little over a year ago now and have several clients that have seen amazing results. My clients hired me because they seen the results that I have produced with my other clients. Dieting can be very complicated when broken down scientifically and I really just dont have the time or energy to break down everything for every client that explains why I have them eating this or that, they just follow my advice because they know that they will see results if they do.
All I can say about this whole thing is that Carth simply wasted his money, maybe before he spent his money and purchased her programs he should have asked her if she would be able to explain everything in scientific detail, because if not then he wouldnt listen to her, and she would most likely be wrong in what she was saying. You wasted your money bro and its no ones fault but your own, dont know if I would consider that being a good business man, next time do a little bit more research before blowing your money. If you maybe had just taken her advice and listened to her you most likely would have seen good results and not wasted your money.

Carth said:What? Contract? Money? What?! Sent me stuff? What are you talking about? I have no idea what you are talking about.
needsize said:did you not agree to pay $600 for a 3 month structural program, training, diet, and cycle advice included. You sent her half the cash, she sent you the structural routine, plus the diet, plus you guys dicussed the cycle to death as you objected to just about everything, and I believe you didnt want to start the cycle right away, so she sent you another routine to do till then, but to date you have only payed half the actual amount agreed upon...
did I miss anything?
BTW, if you have fired her, shouldnt you at least tell her that much, I trained with her thurs, and she had no idea that you had fired her
Carth said:Bro..I don't know what you are talking about. I really don't. Sorry.
needsize said:so laura is now a liar as well as a bad trainer huh?
You have already mentioned in more than one thread about how bad her routines suck, so obviously she sent you those, and I know she sent you the diet, as you questioned a lot of that as well
Its bad enough that you went the route you did trashing her when you dont know enough about it all either way, but now you are being dishonest too?
