holy mongolian clusterfuck from hell GL. who taught you how to put things together?
how much excessive and unnecessary wiring is in that pile anyway? that's a disgrace. you need to unplug EVERYTHING and start over. grab some electrical tape or some zip ties and tape up excess wire into nice neat bundles.
i think i just threw up in my mouth a little because of that pic.
gonelifting said:Excessive wiring? lol Every wire belongs there bro. There may be ONE or two... cables that don't really need to be there but I have them there to view the OSD (on screen display) on the TV screen when making calibrations and viewing menus. Without those cables, I would have to go up to the receiver to view the display (too small) other than that, EVERYTHING belongs.
Price for cables... 4 digits+. Some cables are $100+/each.

Yes, that is a motion sensor in the corner, so don't even think about robbing me. lol
Did you see the straight head-on pics? The wires are not as bad looking there. From the side they look all messed up, but the front view is good. Again, they are HEAVY and stiff and need to be on their own as opposed to being tied up so much or they'll come out of their inputs/jacks.
oh im not putting your setup down, it looks good...just awfully cumbersomegonelifting said:lol You have no idea what you're missing bro. Come over and EXPERIENCE a nice home theater setup with surround sound. The sound will literally move you. It's not the best... (65 inch TV) but you can get a great movie experience from it.
It's not for everybody but for me who stays home rather than going out, it's awesome.

Mr. dB said:GL, what kinda speakers are those?
lol wouldnt a higher end stereo have timing adjustment like that? my $130 PCI card 7.1 24bit processor has timing adjustment.Mr. dB said:gag
Sounds like a glorified car stereo. Good speakers don't go in walls. Bass in couch is a gimmick, and would need to be delayed by at least 10-15 mS to be in time alignment with the rest of the system.
