Does The Glute/Hamstring Machine Put Strain On The Knee Joints???

Guys, does the Glute/Hamstring Machine put any added strain on the knee joint??? The reason I ask is I have a repaired Anterior Cruciate Ligament that took me a while to get over and I DEFINITELY don't want to take a chance at aggravating it again. So to the guys that have used it, what do you think???
