Does the freezer test work?

I've heared if i was to put my oil in the freezer for short time it should turn alittle cloudy if there is any test in it, can anyone confirm this?

Well never heard that but I hear that keeping it in the freezer will make it last longer if you dont need to use it for a wile.............

That is an old trick people used to use with Sustanon.

It'll turn cloudy if there is any powder in the solution, it could be just pure yohimbine HCL right? so I wouldn't consider it a good test.

You have to get into the freezer for a few hours, and look carefully the vial, -almost without blinking- as it is a short lived effect.


Now seriously, it depends.

Lowering temperature reduces solubility of any sustance.
If the sustance is near to saturation -maximun concentration-, reducing temperature will precipitate powder.
If the sustance isnt near to saturation, it will not precipitate.

his reasoning has some logic, but it does not work with sustenon/test/steroids at all

I have done this with Organon Nandrolone 2ml mini vials. There was a precipitate that formed...and at the time, those vials came directly from a pharmacy, patient instructions, and a script..so it was pretty safe to say it was the real deal, even without GC testing done.
FYI the concentration at that time was 50mg/ml......God that seems weak now-a-days!
I never tried with any test ester....just wondering why drrman suggests it would not work. I would assume if cold enough, and you can lower solubility, get a very low saturation point, they would eventually precip too. Interested in hearing this, since I believe drrman always has excellent posts.

Yes it would eventually precipitate with a low saturation if it got cold enough, but idon't think it's a good test. maybe if you atleast want to see wether or not all you got was oil.
