say you had foot surgery a few yrs ago and they fucked it up.
are they obligated to fix it?

i still lol daily at you requesting her to toss your salad while you manualed yourself

that was the first and last time i've been tossed

they aren't obligated to do anything. you most likely signed a waiver.

what surgery did you have?

go to the doc who did the surgery.
and give me all your karma.

broke my foot in 3 places about 3 yrs ago.
everything was good till i started running, now i'm pained big time.
i thought maybe it had something to do with the seasonal change, but it hasn't gotten better.
real tender
and i have no health ins at the moment, so i dunno what to do

Depends on the issue and timeline. There are timelines for these things and who's fault. Need more info.
surgery 3 yrs ago.
doc said i'd be 100% after it healed.
i abided by the rules, wore the cast, etc.
everything was good till i recently started road running...it's gotten to the point where i can no longer run without a ugly limp.
he said (doc) that i'd be 100% and i'm obviously not

ask the government for some....

1. I am sure you signed a waiver
2. You can't prove they did anything wrong
3. They will claim excessive wear and tear on your part by running on it
4. They wull say you did not do all of your PT and at home exercises with docs to prove it
5. They will fuck you!

i know you are not pediatrist, but whattaya think?
you think a broken foot yrs ago means i'm fucked for life?
people bounce back from a lot worse, i don't wanna be limping for ever

they wouldn't hear of it anyhow. i have some serious scarring and shit, get lots of nasty pains and i was basically told to deal with it. our situations are quite different, i'm sure.....

how long ago? i had surgery for my broken foot exactly 1 year ago and it's still a little swollen. nobody could see it, but i know it. i'm not limping, but i went to PS for a while.

i have it now, but my employer did not at the time of the injury. i got stuck with almost 100k in bills. it's a shame, because less and less folks are offering ins. as employers now. so don't laugh at those who work at Walmart...

'bout three yrs ago.
like i said, it was all good till i started running.
now it's super tender and swollen.
i figure i should be able to run, esp three yrs after the fact

LOL...

You'd have to prove that their product and/or service was faulty.

I am sure they did best efforts... why would you even attempt to blame all the kings horses and all the kings men when they in fact put humpty dumpty back together again?

It is not like this doctor screwed you, he fixed your shit and put you back on your feet. He should be your personal god & savior - not the target of your contempt.

jeziz christ nigga, he didn't break you - you did.

There are risks with every surgery and we all wear out after a time. I can't tell you what to do especially not having health insurance for the moment but one would think that if running makes your foot hurt THAT BADLY (whether you had surgery or not) you would just STOP RUNNING.

There are other forms of cardio you can do that will not have such a harmfull effect on your skeletal muscular system. Why not switch to one of those at least until you can get some insurance then have your foot checked out for issues that might need to be addressed ASIDE from the surgery.

Your foot worked find for 3 years until you started running? Doesn't sound like a problem w/surgery. Sounds more like your body is just wearing out. Wait till you get closer to 40! OI!

Can you fall over a rug at the office and scream in pain with real tears? :)

Damn, sorry that you do not have health insurance. Self employed?

This is the catch that they will get you with and claim it is your fault again.

Basically it was good until you went and fucked it up again.

Of course, it might not be anything major. Running on hard surfaces is major stress for the feet, as you are basically crushing them one at a time between your bodyweight and a hard surface over and over.

Factor in a weak foot from the past experience and you can see why you are a bit sore. Take some IBUs and relax a bit, it will stop hurting.

And get yourself some insurance pronto. Not for your foot, but you never know when you might need it.

nah i'm not salty at all towards the doc.
he did a great job and is a family friend...i'm just concerned that I'm not 100% after a fairly routine broken foot.
and it was a workmen's comp claim, i got hurt on the job...that's what makes it grating, the fact that i'm hobbled from a goddamn job.

tried to act cool so the boss wouldn't know what happened (3rd day on the job) but i was fucked.
and of course i got blackballed from that company and they never took me back after i was healed

No your not fucked. You might need some joint meds and some calcium and more PT.
