Does Nolva interfere with Letro?

I see people say it does but does anybody have a study or anything valid that says nolva makes letro less effective? Where is this coming from?

Ive read medical reports saying NOT to use NOLVA and LETRO during the same time. The theory that it renders one ineffective,, ive not seen proof of this.

I tried to find anything besides random people saying that you shouldn't use them at the same time but I'm trying to find any proof of this. Where did you see these medical reports?

Are you asking weather 1- it's ok to use both at the SAME time, or 2- if its ok to use Nolva after the Letro?

I'm asking if taking nolvadex with letro will make the letro less effective. Because i've read quite a few threads about people taking both and having great results with their gyno but i've also read a few threads that say nolva interferes with letro.

I'm also asking because my body has always responded very well to nolva and the letro i'm taking isn't doing shit so far. It's going on 3 weeks of 2.5mg ed and the gyno has gotten significantly worse on the left side since I started. Help me out please.

i doubt nolva would effect the function of letro, the fact you have been on 2.5mg, a very high dose for 3 or so weeks and you gyno is getting worse not better would indicate your letro is no good.

My letro is definitely good. I just feel like there has to be a small percentage of people that don't respond as well to letro as most people. And that maybe i fall into that small percentage. So i'm trying to figure out if i can add nolva in another week or so if I don't see any improvements.

well if your sure its real....... very strange..... I'd get on nolva right away if letro wasn't helping before that gyno gets any worse, run them together.

You think I should stay on the letro at 2.5mg ed and like 20mg ed of nolva?

if you wanna get ridda the gyno then i'd say yes, the longer its left the more stubborn it'll be. are you having any sides from the letro - joint pain, libido crash etc??

Yeah, both pretty badly. Joints getting worse daily and libido has been gone.

I have heard it said more then a few times and in my many hours of reading I have nto seen the study or prof backing it up ether. I got people using the combo all the time for many different reasons and it works great. I think I remember you were the person who got gyno from abombs correct?

Letro is great. I'd be very surprised if a scientific investigation was ever made and published in this regard. I don't know of any instances in which a patient would be undergoing treatment with an AI and a SERM simultaneously. It's a great question for the bb community, but for the same ethical reasons we scientists can't conduct research on humans with steroids or prescriptions like this without precise medical benefit. It'd be very hard to get past the ethics committee much less obtain funding for such a study. The best you might hope for is someone who had bloodwork conducted to investigate hormone, etc. levels while experimenting with various mixes of AIs and SERMs.

Here is a study that indicates that:
A pharmacokinetic interaction has been established between letrozole and tamoxifen, whereby reduced circulating levels of letrozole are found with combined application. Neither anastrozole nor letrozole have any effect on plasma concentrations of tamoxifen when given in combination with it.

Comparative clinical pharmacology and pharmacokine... [J Steroid Biochem Mol Biol. 2001] - PubMed result

I had to research because, like many on this thread, I have never read any actual studies that show any impacts of combining letro with nolva. Example Statement from Anthony Roberts: "Nolvadex will significantly reduce the blood plasma levels of both Letrozole as well as Arimidex."

Exactly to want extent the studies stated pharmacokinetic interaction between letrozole and tamoxifen impacts the effectiveness of Letro, I do not know, yet.

No it wasn't abombs, never taken that. It was from my test. I've done cycles before with no test and never had any problems with gyno but both my last cycles have been with test and i've had problems both times. This time being worse then ever. I dropped my test to 150-200mgs a week now, been on the letro at 2.5 mg ed for right about 3 weeks and my left side has gotten significantly worse in the past 3 weeks so I wanted to add some nolva because last cycle my body reacted very well to it and very quickly. So i wanted to know if that would be ok if I'm still taking letro.

Man I wish they had more info on that. That could mean it reduces letro blood plasma levels by 2% or by 70%. Just gonna have to be patient and see what happens i guess.

Agreed. It might not even be a material decrease for BB'ers.

Just as toniportray pointed out:
