does IGF really make your gut expand?

On a medical website I read about IGF that "unlike GH, it DOESN'T make your gut and/or internal organs enlarge". But now I read here that it does. Any experiences with this? And is it dose dependant? I'm going to start an IGF cycle next week....but I'm worried about organ enlargement, something I thought I was safe from with IGF.

Has to do directly with internal organs, like intestines having many times more receptors than other cells, such as those in muscles. have not seen the issue first hand yet with IGF-1 LR3, but definately with HGH.
 
I have read from several different sources that "GH Gut" is a myth. The condition is called hyperplasia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperplasia). The myth part of it is that some people are just pre-disposed to the condition, as in, if you are predisposed, then you will, if you arent, then you are safe... kind of like hair loss. My guess is, based on the extremely phenomenal genetics of pros, that essentially they are ALL predisposed to the condition... Whereas the average person is not... I mean seriously how many normal guys do you know that have done GH that have "GH gut"?

make sense? at least its an alternate theory
 
yeah i have been running it for over a month now...i think that it could have to do with the guys that stay on it for years on end...without a break
 
You're not going to get GH gut with low doses of GH or IGF - how much are you using?

Also - why are you looking to use IGF?

I would say that 95% of BB on here have NO NEED for GH or IGF.
Hell, 80% probably don't even need AAS.............

But what do I know........
 
according to Anabolics 2006, IGF causes enlargement of all parts of the body except the brain and eyes. I have not noticed any thing special from my two 4 week runs of IGF, just a little fat loss, but that appeared to come back once i quit.

IGF WORKS - PERIOD, but you need much higher doses of it then you were probably led to believe.

glad someone else agrees with me and they don't believe the fucking magazine....20mcg/day is nothing but a waste of time, money, and syringes, 80 min, 100 better
 
I'm looking at Yates, Coleman and the man from PR ... don't know his name.

Each has the gut although they show abs ... like a barrel. In Yates book, you can see the bulge over and under his belt as he toughs out some reps.

Maybe this comes with working the abs while body weight nudges 275-300+ ? I see another pic of Yates at about 210 and he can do the vacumm like Zane.

I'm looking at Warren Branch and I don't see it. He claims he doesn't work abs directly.

That is what I believe

The fact is at those sizes your waist/abs can only be so small.... abs get worked doing squats for one... with no ab muscles they wouldnt be squatting 475 or whatever else...
 
Couple of things:
-you supposedly get localized growth from igf. That is why you shoot it IM.
-GH produces igf. If you shoot it by your belt line it would seem all your organs are there.
-If you have good igf 40mcg's a day is insane. If you have garbage igf you need to use more.

Not true for me. Couldn't tell a difference with two different runs.

I hear you. That is why I put "supposedly" up there. Its not wonder drug. Especially most of the crap that is out there now. Low grade!

They are really drugs that are best used for advanced bbers.
Regular people will mostly benefit from the fat loss properties.

yeah gu made me lose 2 inches for sure in 3 months of its use
 
bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream and pizza makes my gut expand.... :(

The results I got from using 20mcg, 1x a week scared me.

Used slin and creatine and took ala on all other days. Protein was 350g-400g/day. Workouts were 2x/day.
 
I think that with long-R3, you see overall growth because it stays active in your system longer (which might be more risky).

MGF is supposed to cause local growth. hu-IGF is too. Haven't tried either.

wow...there is still no real consensus on dosage of this stuff. I've got two bottles in the freezer right now waiting to be reconstituted....but I've got to admit, I'm a little hesitant. There is WAY too much conflicting opinions about this stuff on this board....I mean COMPLETELY opposite philosophies.
