When SHBG levels are increased beyond what is expected, there is likely to be less free testosterone available to the tissues than is indicated by the total testosterone. If SHBG concentrations are decreased, more of the total testosterone is “bioavailable” - not bound to SHBG.

It's late where I am right now. And I'm dead tired. So I'm trying to understand this. So you mean that by taking Proviron I will get more E because of more FREE "bioavailable" Test?
It's all about the FREE testosterone. That's why UNLEASHED works. It's the only natty supp that doesn't try to increase overall T -- which is a losing battle. It lowers SHBG so FREE T goes up.

lol at no one really answering your question. i am also wondering this.
Well, of course, the more T you have, the more POTENTIAL to e conversion but there are a lot of variables. You can have low T and high e and vice versa. Aromatization is more a side effect of excess T.

This is EXACTLY what I had asked a while ago and what I think I was experiencing at one point. When I took provirion for a while, I swore that there was some water retention going on in me. I attributed it to all the "bound" test being "Freed" up and now circulating in me and being convered to estrogen. I do believe this.
That's actually what's happening to me now. Hence why I am asking.
But the amount of FREE T is equal to only percentage of total T which means the conversion would be very slight.

does SHBG even have a purpose? when i was taking unleashed i felt a crazy difference pretty fast. but i was also taking formastanzol so didnt notice an estrogen increase
I can't even take Unleashed. I had to return that stuff. I take ADD meds. And when I take Unleashed it literally feels like I took a giant dose of caffeine. I feel very wired and very irritable!
Nelson, on 150mgs of Test Cyp a week. My Test levels come out to 872. And the ref. range is 250-800 on the blood work. My E1 is at 55 and my E2 is at 65. That's just 15-20 points away from going OVER the ref. range.
So you're telling me that if take Proviron (which helps to free up more Test). My Testosterone level would come out HIGHER than 872?
And my E1 and E2 would come out HIGHER than 55 and 72?

For your question ... I thought prov was taken for its andro properties. In Europe it is used for ed problems.
And more Free Test was great because it has a better muscle building effect than Test ... and why you want both in the blood testing.
Your total mg of additional test each week is really reasonable. 0.25mg of a-dex each week should curtail any esto.
Proviron is pure androgen so yes, it will raise T. And if you can't tolerate UNLEASHED, Proviron will have a similar effect.
That e level is high bro. I think that's the problem. You aromatize at a high level. A little dex should get it in line.
I'm on Proviron and I"m not getting that same nasty effect Unleashed gave me.

Actually, it was. The short answer is yes.
UNLEASHED and Proviron work the same way, though Proviron being a drug is stronger. Whatever bothered you while you were on UNLEASHED may not have been the UNLEASHED. It has no stims, so the wired feeling had to be coming from something else.

SHBG's purpose is keeping you a relatively weak rodent, rather than a strapping muscular one..
But it does bind to estrogen, too, doesn't it?
