does HCG keep you supressed?

from what ive read it does. why include it in your PTC if it keeps you locked down for another 3 weeks? assuming you do 1000 mon/wed/fri for 3 weeks.

whats the truth on this shit?

Yes, it does. HCG monotherapy is a common form of HRT/TRT and you can tell that it is suppressing you because the labwork shows that while you're on it, your LH and FSH will drop to near zero. Mine did.

The T that you get as a result of HCG is being made by your own body. However, you are essentially replacing LH by using HCG. To your body, HCG looks like LH. Coming off of HCG monotherapy as TRT requires some kind of PCT...that is what I am doing right now with a 10 week Nolva plan.

Actually that has nothing to do with coming off a cycle since at that point you don't have any LH to suppress. The purpose of it is to blow your testes by tricking them into thinking that there is LH present. Then as your HPTA comes back on line your testes are up and running already. Then you add clomid to ignite the T production, or in your example, nolva to fool the feedback loop into thinking you have less T than you really do.

anyone wanna challenge ulter? seems like he's got the right info for sure..

seems like theres no concrete proof of anything when it comes to steroid use.

You won't recover your own LH production from it, but if it's after a cycle, you're already suppressed like Ulter said. It helps to give your testes a surge of LH from the HCG in order to get them functioning again. Recovering your body's own production comes from the clomid or nolva.

I was on HCG monotherapy for almost 2.5 months as part of my HRT regimen. During that time, my LH was 0. I've had lab work done as part of HRT every 2 weeks for the last 9 months. Does 0 mean I am suppressed? Absolutely....that is totally out of range. If I stopped HCG cold turkey, I'd feel like shit until my body recovered and that's why I am on a PCT-type program. Many have tried no PCT (both with HRT and AAS) and many have suffered. You can't cold turkey off of HCG just like you can't cold turkey off of Test. They are both raising Test levels, but they are both doing so artificially and unless you find a way to kick start your system as you withdraw them, you will pay big time.

I think what Ulter is trying to say is that HCG is a good "handoff" to Nolva/Clomid. It pumps your balls back up so that when your Nolva/Clomid is brought on board as part of PCT, there is less "work" to do. Going into PCT with full balls is better than going into it with atrophied ones.

I'd have to agree with this.

Not trying to hi-jack this thread. Is hcg really useful during a cycle if your testes have not shrunk? All of the cycles I have done I have noticed no difference of my testes,no shrinkage.
