does gear mess with your prostate?

No one anywhere can answer that question for sure. Here's what I do know for sure:

AAS will enlarge your prostate; at least while you're on.

Testosterone is definitely involved in the development and progression of prostate cancer. So far no one has linked AAS use and prostate cancer risk. But then again, AAS use is not extensively studied.

Common sense would suggest that if you're destined for prostate cancer, AAS use will hasten its progression.

wont avodart or finasteride stop prostate growth? i mean thats what they are developed for

I take Saw Palmetto twice a day when on gear. and 1 time per day when off. Will keep any swelling problems of your prostate down, just to be on the safe side.

That's a possible side effect. Solution: annual DRE (digital rectal exam) + blood test for PSA levels. It's the only way you'll know if you're affected.

I'm 63, taking HRT dosage of test, HGH and amiridex .... and prime for any prostate cancer problem. I've done orals in the past.

My last PSA in Jan was the lowest ever ... less than 1 on a 1-4 scale. A sonogram showed normal.

Sex life is daily with no urinary problems.

My Doc believes it is esto that hits a man's prostate so we always watch those levels - - which fall lower every month. :)

As for super high levels of aas .... Haven't seen any champs getting their's removed.

There are more studies showing that taking test doesn't affect you prostate than there are showing that it does.
Keep in mind that the studies are on men that do not use an aromatese inhibitor. DHT is not the culprit people first believed it to be regarding prostate enlargement and cancer. It's the estrogen acting with the DHT. So men using an AI shouldn't have any prostate issues with taking test.
