Does feeling hungry mean I'm not eating enough?

Just wondering if a hungry feelings necessarily means I'm not eating enough and I'm losing muscle. Right now I'm 225lbs. and I'm taking in around 2500kcal/day. 300g Protein, 100g Fat, and Around 80g Carbs. I eat every 2.5-3 hours but I still feel hungry a lot. Does it necessarily mean I'm not eating enough?

I would suspect increasing caloric intake to 2700 which is your BMR should be beneficial in this case, but undereating is not always the case for hunger. It might be that the carbs you are eating are spiking your blood sugar too much, or your body is too low in bodyfat so it's trying to trick you to eat. Too many factors, and not all related to food intake.

Anything else it could be? I only eat low GI carbs, really just green veggies, oatmeal, a litlte wheat bread and dextrose post workout. Perhaps bc I'm used to eating a caloric surplus?

A disorder of a sort, or a genetic predesposition. I would also venture into saying that if you drop your protein intake to 225g and increase your fat intake by at least 50g you should see a difference.

Try adding 5-HTP and ECA to the diet...

carries 5htp

if I don't stay low-carb, as in less than 20g per day, my stomach practically forces me to eat up to maintenance. even when I'm eating 100% clean. some people just have issues with carbs, I think. they make me HUNGRY.

I forgot to mention I'm on clen. Does that normally make you hungrier?

Clen usually does the opposite for mose, it blunts hunger, maybe your insulin sensitivity is way low, but I would try adding fats to the diet first before I jump to conclusions.

Im hungry on ckd...but ive probably dropped about 500cals from what Im used to eating which is probably the reason, I guess its just takes time to adjust.
But I do have a question..if my meal 6 (last meal) is at 730pm, but Im still awake for another 4hrs or so..can I eat anything? Or just stick it out, cos its a long time until m1 the next day...

Also are olives ok to have..or no snacks at all?

O..one more, what is I cant have a carbup day? I wont be staying at home on sunday, and thus dont know what food will be avaliable, what happens if you dont have a carbup day or dont have it until monday/tuesday the following week..is that ok?

Thanks

drink some fiber, or you can have a salad (small), it's hard to do, but after a while you get used to ketosis and it blunts your hunger

they are fine as long as you don't eat more than 6g carbs per meal w/ the olives and other foods

a lot of fatty food is a no no

that's fine if you prolong it, just more fat to burn w/ the CKD...I would even venture to say it would be more beneficial because you're a first time user
