Does B5 burn?

Hey all, I just started taking pathothenic acid to try and clear up a few minute blemishes. Due to the old party days my asophegeal sphincter seems to have lost some elasticity causing somewhat regular heartburn/acid reflux. I have learned to cope with it w/out the aid of any perscription. Anywho, I've been taking about 1.6 grams a day(liquid form along w/ B complex) and it seems to be doing the trick. I am however waking up in the middle of the night with heartburn which doesn't usually happen. My diet is always changing w/ different spices and herbs so I'm not sure if it is the b5 causing this. I know the obviouse responses would be "Stop taking it and see if it goes away." Well I would but I'm going on vacation next weekend and don't want to chance any more breakouts. The other obvious response would be "B5 is an acid dumbass, what do you think?" Well contrary to popular belief not all acids cause heartburn; for example a shot of vinager will clear up even the nastiest case of reflux. So I was just curious as to weather or not this has occured to anyone else that was supplementing it in large doses. Thanks!

Try some prilosec, or mylanta right before bedtime.

I've found that tums works also, although mylanta is probably better for coating also. Whenever I am on test I get that side affect, so I usually takes some tums along with my before bed meal, and when I do, no problems.
