Does anyone like snakes, or has a pet snake?

I'm curious about them, although it seems they are usually somewhat reserved for eccentric personalities as a pet. I think they are fascinating in a way.

I dig snakes but don't have one. If I did I'd want a python.

Had an Australian Tagu (lizard) once. It was 2 1/2 feet long and totally cool.

I like big snakes, I have a small snake(cali king) and the thing was fucking nuts,it would strike everytime I tried to feed it, I had the fucker a week and sold it

During the summer,I caught a couple of banded sand snakes,which were really cool little guys,they have almost a pointed head which carves right into the dirt..Very placid,never even attempted to bite.

Well,the cool thing about the sand snakes(which look like a cali king snake-white w/black stripes,but different head and smaller)is that their head is so small that even if they did attempt to bite there's no way it would hurt.

i have a snake phobia. im terrified. this thread is even scary to me. i have recurring snake nightmares where im chillin in the dream then all of a sudden BAM 85 million snakes crawling aroun my feet.

i need a hug.

I hate snakes, they freak me out. I dont know why, Ive had so many different animals-scorpians-camealians-iquana...

My brother useto have a 12ft alibino python- whatever there called-beautiful animal..(yellow & white)

I'm just so afraid they will bite or strangle you-Ive heard to may stories with snakes that end in tragedy...I just don't trust snakes.

I love snakes, I have a boa, its a conversation piece for sure, its kind of like a cool picture, people come in and look at it and talk about how scarry they are, its funny. Good low maintainence animals, super cheap to own as well 1 feed her 1 large rat every 3 weeks and thats it!!

I have no problem with snakes. I am a lover of all creatures though, excpet earwigs. I really hate them fuckers. But other than that, I am cool with about everything else. Growing up we had just about every pet known to man I swear. All my classmates used to joke about our "zoo". I would really like to get a pet snake, but I can't decide what to go with. Plus, I think I would have a hard time feeding mice/rats to one, since I also like mice and rats. I have a hard time feeding crickets to my scorps for christ sake. Yet, I can pound down a hefty chunk of cow at a meal and think nothing of it. I think if I had to see the cow and watch them cut it up, I wouldn't be able to eat it though. But I am getting off topic here....

Hey gab if you want a snake and dont want to deal with killing the rat/mouse you can buy frozen ones at petco now, I am with you, I dont like killing the little guys either.
