Does Anyone Else Diet Without the Use of Supplements

The only supplement I use is whey protein (I do take a couple of tabs of ephedrine on Sat & Sun but for energy only). Does anyone else feel that it's unneccesary to to take fatburners, etc to lean out? Seems like a waste of money to me when you can get there with diet & cardio.

I think it depends on the individual...some have no problem getting as lean as they want through diet & exercise alone. Body type has a lot to do with it. I personally am a mix endo/meso so I can get lean but thermogenics definitley make it easier.

All I use is diet and whey powder as well. Thoughout the years I've tried a lot of stuff, most of it was worthless. I think stimulants ("fat burners") introduce more problems than good.

Same with me. A few years ago I consistently used fat burners and, as a result, I think I screwed up my metabolism. Now my caloric intake is only 2300 calories and I do cardio at least once per day for 30 mins. That's a pathetically low caloric intake level. On the bright side, my food bill is pretty low. lol I'm used to it now but it was very hard to adjust to such a low caloric level.

I take one ephendrine hcl before am cardio.......only because it's at 4:30am and I need a jolt, else I would crumble......protein powder and MRPs are a staple........creatine, prohomones, etc. are a waste of cash IMO.........multivitamin, vit. c, b-12 and e are staples as well.....someime glutamine if I can get it at a reasonable price........

If you're the guy in you avatar you don't need any fat burner :)

BTW, years ago, before all those supp on the market people used to cut w/o the help of any fat burner so I guess you can still dot it
Still I think Eph HCL and caffeine may help

All I use is protein powder, and only when I'm in a situation where I can't actually eat natural food (once school starts again in the fall, for example, I'll drink a shake while teaching, since I can't exactly chow down on chicken and vegetables in front of my students when it's time for me to eat), or if I wake up hungry in the middle of the night and don't have any cottage cheese.

Once in a while if I can't get going in the AM, I'll take a fat burner before hitting the gym, however, with Ephedra illegal (this is the first bottle I bought since) they seem pointless and don't do much, so this is the last of it I will be buying.

i only use clen and t3, but even if it did not work 'magically' it's the pyschosomatic effects i want to reap you know.

thinking it works makes me have an edge i guess.

How is that on an empty stomach? I tried it a few times and got some nasty nausea. I would get dizzy just about puked.

I don't believe in MRP either. I think the whole foods plan is the better way to go. I usually go for the nuts/seeds thing when I don't have time to eat correctly. By the way, did you know that you can buy ephedrine HCL legally?

Seems like everyone on this thread doesn't buy into the fatburners concept. From the length of the Yohimburn/R-ala threads, it surprises me that everyone diets so intelligently. ;)
