Does anybody ever notice this?

I was working out today and my girl was with me and she pointed out a guy that was there. This guy was huge, but in a bad way, beyond fat, totally obese which is ok, but he had this tiny little tank top on that didnt cover 10% of his body. After getting of the benches he would leave a glistening pool of sweat and grease (like the sol-glo people in coming to america). He then went and started to do dumbell curls with 20 lbs , swung up ten reps and then looked at me, puffed out his fat, snarled his lip in an expression that was like "yeah, I'm the baddest dude in this place" I can appreciate his desire to improve himself, but what are you supposed to do in these situations, laugh, snarl back or compliment the grease spot?

Tell him the next time he leaves his stinkin ass body slop on the benches....he might find it a lil difficult finishing his workout with one of them 20 lb. dumbells stickin halfway up his fat ass...... word up :fro:

Ya,Suston and I were found by the side of the Tiber river and raised by a she wolf. The man is still alive for no other reason than it is illegal to kill people. Thanks for the support, I had the same thought.

I would personally then take his 20lbs throw them in the cardio room and spit on him and pick up the 75's and rep them out while screaming "No Problem!!!"

or calmly respond "you might be the baddest guy in the gym but when you step outside you are nothin but a bitch"

I would have laughed at his measly 20's and gone straight to the 25's! Yeah baby! Shoot him down with my 14.5 inch guns!

I am all that is man!

hehehe I have had my fair share of thoose guys to...
What I usually do is to go up next to the guy, put on my belt and start curling some heavy weights. Theese jerks make me go even heavier and the looks they give, well i just see them as a bonus :)

most of the time I don't even notice most of the tards milling around my gym....unless one of them happens to have the dumbells I want or something....

they might as well not even be there

Honestly, you shouldn't let it get to you. The poor guy obviously has self-esteem issues, and doing that is probably the only way he can motivate himself into getting into the gym. Move on and just let him be. After all, you have alot more going than he does, and everyone else at the gym knows this. Be the better man, and don't shatter his already fragile self-image. No one will think you the lesser for it, but if you do insult him, it will make you look like a musclehead bully who just likes to pick on fat and out of shape people, and you will loss some respect for it.

I just feel sorry for the next person who uses the bench after the guy and lays down in a pile of grease.:p

I know the best way to handle this.

A guy on my school's tennis team was playing an away match, and the other school's football team was watching, talking smack, etc. One in particular was really getting on his nerves... so he looked the football player in the eye and says.....

... 'you're fat.'

The rest of the team laughed at the dude... it was pretty funny. Just attack his fatness, he won't be able to deny it.

Cuthbert :)

I hate when people leave the benches full of sweat and "sol-glo!":fro: I would ask him for his towel so I could wipe it off...in a condesending way of course! I mean, so he's making an ass out of himself with his 10% tank top and snarling with his gut hanging out...big deal. But the soiling of public equipment is just inconsiderate!

atleast hes in there trying. I know a lot of people who wont even go in a gym cuz they are "tad" over weight.

Very true, I know fat people, both men and women, who feel intemidated by workout out around people who are in great shape, because it makes them feel bad about themselves, and they actually think those people are really laughing at them on the inside when they look at them trying to workout. I've heard this from enough to know it is common.
