Doctor visit

New insurance meant new doctor. I went for my initial visit and everything was fine UNTIL I said that I was 8 weeks into a cycle. My blood pressure that was excellent suddenly bacame "much to high for a man your age". She did make my blood pressure rise a few points with her little "My son is a cop, they are really cracking down and making examples out of people these days" speech.
In the end I did my best to defend my posistion of a non-drinking, non-smoking, gym rat that does a cycle every 2 years or so. Fuck her and her judgements, fat bitch.
There is money to be made here, a national list of doctors that don't condone using AS, but don't give you the business end of the Captain McJudgypants MD routine.
Just venting

I suugest find a better doctor get a list of all the doctors in your are that your covered under and do trial and error till you find one you trust, trust in your doctor is very important

i cant believe you even said that to your doctor, one breath of that to the ins. company and you are done.

insurance will cancel your shit if any major health issues arise. then you are left w/ the bill.

Bros i was on AAS when a nurse tested me for life insurance and i got it! I dont think they are lookin for that.

For one, you don't have to tell any doctor that you are on. BTW, I can't believe you said that also. If you do tell a doctor, tell a sports doct, atleast he'll understand ;p

Been there, bro, it sucks to have a doctor treat you that way. I had SuperBitch, MD., go off on me.

I'm not sure what the best way to find a good doctor is these days. Maybe ask them what they feel about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and gauge them based on their response to that? Or ask them about supplements, and specifically DHEA - which is often recommended as part of an anti-aging therapy. The docs who are morons will start in on the lecture tour immediately.

Good luck. Keep looking, and find the right doc. I think it's important to be able to tell the doc that you are on, so that they can help you (gasp!) stay healthy.

lol....sounds like you need a new approach. Your best bet is to go to the doctor and say your BP went up, you don't know why but you want help. In general, no matter the situation, western doctors have very little they can do for BP - most of these "cures" lie in medicines. Get your prescription and get out of there.

keep in mind, bloating during a cycle is the general cause of BP. You should also look at your potassium and taurine intake.
