do you train when u are sick?

i haven't been able to train all week because of a virus i have or something.. felt sick to my stomach and stopped up all week. i feel fat as shit from not training though.
 
No. You should recover. Drink plenty of fluids and take a few days off. It will give you rest. One reason people get sick is overtraining.
 
If i feel really bad I dont like fever and such, but if its barable I will go with light intensity I heard it may help get rid of it faster whether thats true or not who knows.

But if you feel like shit then I wouldnt

I just got over being sick myself. The fucked up thing is I just started my cycle too. I rested and did not work out much at all. The worst thing you can do is work out when you're suck. You'll just prolong it that way. I just shot through it and took half the dose I was taking of the shorter acting esters like D-bol and waiting it out. I went to the gym tonight, got on the scale and I was up 10lbs in only a week, most of which I was sick.
 
Sickness

it's best to take a few days off and rest, but myself like others I'm sure still train if we are 'a little bit' sick, as is the case of a cold. But if I get a bad cold and i'm just feelin run down and tired, I rest.
 
i know how it feels to get sick on cycle JA. i got sick with just 5 days left on my recent 5 wk cycle. i shot test suspension in spite of that on the first 2 days and tried to work out the first day. tried to eat proper too but couldn't carry on. i lost around 5lbs in those few days, obviously some of that was water, but i felt i could have maybe pushed my way up to 2 more lbs had i been training and eating right. anyway, 2wks after my post cycle started i have regained nearly 2 more lbs- been training and eating like a maniac for that.
 
you should have seen my sorry-ass workout this morning. i quickly found out that eating an 1/8 of shrooms the night before has a great tendency to hinder your work...
 
I use this rule of thumb: if the cold is all above the neck I work out.

If it gets below my neck I take time off until I am better.
 
I rest. I'd rather miss one or two workouts, instead of pushing myself, getting worse, and missing a week or two. I also wouldn't want to be a dick and get others sick.

I only train when sick when I feel like I need to lose some muscle mass. Sometimes it just gets in the way you know?
