The Ramseys were clearly guilty and covered their tracks very well. The evidence points to Mrs.; it's not like Mr. would turn her in. The murder weapon didn't have ANY fingerprints, so someone inside the house was trying too hard. The smartest thing they could have done was to invite all of their friends over before the police even arrived to fingerprint the hell out of the house, which they did. Since the police didn't even think to treat the case as a murder until all the evidence was destroyed, the entire case was ruined.
