do you take baths or showers?

I take showers when I'm in a hurry.

But I love baths when I'm relaxing! :jarswim:

no i'm not ernie. I use my action figures. I'm more mature than to play with a rubber duckie!

Rubber duckies are fun though!!!!! :cow:

(this is as close to a duck smiley that I could find) ;)

I started taking baths in lieu of showering about 14 years ago, when I moved into this apartment. My water pressure wasn't good enough, especially on the hot side, to push the shower head. Also, my shower curtain rod was too high for a standard-length shower curtain. So I got used to taking baths.

Now, even though the water pressure issues have been fixed, there's still the problem with the curtain rod that I've been too lazy to fix.

I have made some special modifications to my bathtub. I duct-taped over the vent, so that I can overfill the tub. I run as much water into the tub as it will hold without spilling over when a 235 pound man gets in. Still, I wish the tub was much larger and deeper, and I had a bigger hot water heater. I'd like it to be big enough for me to float.

How big is your water heater?

Showers..i save baths for romantic moments, me and my S.O. ...bubble bath...candles...wine...that kind of thing...always to much in a hurry to take a bath any other time.

i take both depends on the mood and yes they both can be lots of fun with or without someone else!!!! hahahahahaha

I take showers ,however after a long hard workout, i have my Shower converted to a steam room ,now that is heaven. Ahhhhh!

RADAR

I do both. Showers in the morning or when I'm in a hurry...a bath when I'm a little sore & just want to kick back with a cold drink & turn the jets on.

:rainbow: ............I take showers all the time. When I need to relax I go outside and sit in the jacuzzi.....it's real nice now that it is getting colder outside..... ;)

Only showers.. I can't fathom the idea of placing my bottom where my dirty feet have been

I agree, I don't see how someone can relax in dirty water. How do they wash thier ass?

i shower every morning, and either a shower or bath in the evenings.

What is wrong with you people? You shower WITH SOAP first, THEN take a nice hot bath!

I'll bet you pee in the pool.

You need a doctor.

1) do you wipe your ass after you make a doody?
2) how do you eat a sandwich?
3) what takes place between those two events?

If the answer to number three does not include the word 'soap', it should.

Of course soap.. but when i look at most ppls bathtubs.. the idea of actually sitting in them never crosses my mind.. showers are cleaner than baths.. at least from my point of view.. baths.. give me the idea of sitting in your own filth.. and yes i realize i use soap, but baths also cause a film to develop around the tub.. i guess i have put alot of thought into this

Ok. sorry. I was a bit out of context. When I was a twentysomething my bathtub did not receive the same care as when our family expanded to three little types that take baths, and as you get older you just keep your place in better shape as well I suppose... or you should. Being older and sloppy is just sloppy, not cool.

When you have little kids, you ALWAYS wash the tub before you bathe them. We use this hypo-allergenic SoftScrub kind of cream wash every time before they get near it. That having been said, our tub is always clean, so there is no CatInTheHat ring around the tub or other stanky stuff residue.

I do see your point.

Shower.. morning and evening.

I'll take a bath after my shower if I need to relax ;)

my kids aren't little, but my tub is spotless. its also ONLY a tub- i have a separate shower.
i actually don't know how people wash their hair in a bathtub though. I don't usually take a bath to get clean- i take one to relax and just rinse off at the end of a day.

wnt2b- come on in!

you've seen my hair!!!! lol
:dolphin:

We always take showers together and every once in a while we take baths.

Our tub is always clean i have a thing about dirty bathtubs - our house is fiarly new so i like to keep it clean.

shower everyday to get clean and feel refreshed. i also take burning hot showers when i am having trouble breathing because of my asthma. the hot air really opens up my lungs. i take long hot baths with bubbles, candles, the lights dimmed, and soft music playing when i am really stressed and need to relax. i stay in until i am all prunny and my stresses have left may body.

No my bathtub is not dirt.. but if you look at any tub closely it has crevices etc and those regardless of what you want to beleive.. trap dirt.. As far as cleanliness goes i do not feel comftable putting my butt where my feet have been even after i have washed it with bleach..

It's the thought of it

Ya i'm still in my 20's but been living on my own for 12 yrs.. i have learned to clean in that time..

Ok. Crevices. You have an issue with this, you know that, right?

Now, juxtaposed to that take on 'parts' and there relationship to each other, I have determined through painstaking testing that I have no problem washing a woman with plain soap, no bleach needed, and not only licking her feet and sucking her toes, but every 'crevice' I can find. For as long as she likes or will let me. Ass, toes, you name it. No worries.

... in closing, I would just like to say 'Mangos'.

:chomp:

I take showers to get clean, and baths to soothe my tired and sore muscles.

And my bathtub is spotless.

Showers

I can see taking a bath to relax or have fun with the lady, but not to get clean. Who wants to bathe in their own filth?

College I take a shower, and when I go back to my place in Canada, I shower aswell. But the first day back home, I always take one bath so I feel nice and relaxed.

Yep. I've lived on my own for 3 years, and Sunday is cleaning day at my places. So I make sure I either clean the entire condo's out (whichever I'm using in either the States or Canada), or else pay a maid to do it. lol

Your feet must be really nasty then, don't you wear shoes?

But, when taking a bath, if you're really worried about some foot-funk getting on your pristine butt, well, you can wash them both with soap and it'll all be as good as new.

A bath for wash is nasty...your swimming in your own shit. Now taking a shower first and then a bath is different...that's nice.

i've taken baths all my life. I mostly take showers in the summer tho.

Mostly shower.....but do take baths once in awhile to help with my lower back problem....little epsom salt in the water seems to help
