me and my ex of 5 years talk on phone about 3-5 times a week. mostly about whats going on with one another or if something stressful - (because we know each other so well we can see both sides of the story) Shes married with a child and her husband knows, but he respects me because he knows I wouldnt do anything, even if she tried. I had to call her a lot about my recent break-up, she has really helped me with it.

I know its a nice gesture on both of your parts to stay in touch however I have never been able to achieve this.. I guess I cant stand the fact that I am no longer the main purpose... I dont know.l.
