Do you rake your own leaves?

Thanks.

Also, we just got notice that we can no longer pile the leaves on the sidewalk in front of the house. We need to place them in containers or paper bags just for leaves. wtf? That's a whole lot of cans or bags! There's a $1300 or $2300 fine for leaving them on the street now. The reson... they've been getting in the sewers and clogging them up. Hmmm.

I'll try and post pics if I can.

I vaccuum them and put them in a pile at the road. City services removes them.

Having to bag them would suck.

I used to rake my leaves then I learned that I live on just a bit of a slope so when the heavy rains come in November it washes them onto the next guys property.

Then I call one of the board members of our covenant associatation and complain that he is letting his yard go to hell..

That's what i used to do. They just sent out the notice this year for the bagged stuff. Ouch.

I wonder what will happen to the leaves from the trees at the front of the house. They'll be leaves all over the street anyway. This is going to be an interesting year.

and I'm STILL not moving those parked cars!

Umm... I can't speak from experience, but wouldn't that kinda thing be illegal? (Honest question; I can't tell if it's a joke or not, lol.)

i only have palm trees in my yard

I so wanna try growing one of those in Wisconsin. I'd be the coolest kid on the block. I gotta get some damn botanists to engineer the damn weather thing, though.

or b/c u r watching italianmuscle rake HIS leaves into MY yard;)

in the area i live, what with narrow streets and old historic houses; even indoor fireplaces must be natural gas or electric...so burning leaves is outta da question.

Hey....somepeople don't like all the yard work and Like that type of living....somedays I wish I had it....

We don’t have leaves to rake, and I think it is a against the law to use a rake in California unless you are Mexican.

They only use noisy blowers to spread the mess around, I think it is some sort of retaliation against the US for taking over California from Mexico in the Spanish American war.

I will note that I have ZERO trees on my property. All these leaves are from neighbor's trees.
