Do you know any dragqueens?

Listen, a man - and an ugly man at that - dressing up like a some French whore with a pound of makeup applied with a spatula, balloon or card board boobs, wearing more costume jewelry than a ghetto kid, running around with a microphone "trying" to act like a bitch and insulting everyone with a foul mouth is not my cup of tea.
The best drag queens are the ones that use their natural hair, jelly filled balloons or a very nice AUTHENTIC strap one, have wit and sass without the crass and wear little to none makeup. Even then, I have no interest. Remember, I am GAY. I like MEN! If I liked women, I would like REAL ONES.

I wouldn't say friends, but i do know one. She/he tried to pick me up at a club i frequent. I politely turned her down, but we chat whenever i see her.
What is your fascination with drag queens? Hmmm? You like them? Find them an oddity to be admired? A novelty to have as a friend? Inner attraction on your part to aggressive women? Typical breeder's reactions. 90% of most drag queen's audiences are straight.
FYI who better to speak about a gay aspect than a gay man? Further more, if you ask a question, you should be able to handle either side of the coin that the answer may fall upon.

Been to a gay club down at ECU. Every two weeks, they would hold a contest to see who's the most dazzling drag queen. If you liked him, you would clap loud as a measure to see which one's the best draq queen. Don't get me wrong, they're not my types but they can be quite surprising. They remarkably look like your average women but prettier. Shoot, I'd go for one of them but thank goodness, I never had a chance to do it.
BTW, don't even ask why I was hanging out in a gay club. Call it an experiment.

Drag queens -- men who perform in women's clothes. It frequently has no connection to sexual gratification or gender identification. They are almost always gay or bisexual. I was friends with a drag queen years ago who was married and the father of two children.
Drag kings -- women who perform in men's clothes. However, they usually seem to be more "full time." I went to a party recently where there were six or seven present -- the kind who had cultivate little wisps of hair on their chin into goatees.
Transvestites -- men who cross dress because they derive sexual gratification from it. They are often heterosexual.
Transsexuals -- members of either gender who, having a conviction they belong to the other sex, undergo sex reversal typically or live as a member of the opposite sex. I have recently been working with the family of a 5 year old boy who is convinced he is a girl and has identified with them since he was an infant.
Transgendered -- refers to any of the folks who cross gender lines.

I knew a loud and obnoxious one that came to a nightclub I worked at in Chicago... I didn't like her/him -- but other than that, I have nothing else to guage... whatever tripps your trigger I suppose.

when I worked for a patent law firm and was frequently in the patent office, there was a guy there that was hispanic and would go out on weekends and dress up as a woman and win pagents that were held for that sort of thing.

I don't have the power to ban you -- nor the desire. I was just fuckin' wit yo haid.
I don't know if this counts, but i used to belong to an egroup of female weightlifters (some were bodybuilders, powerlifters, olympic lifters, etc). I have a feeling some of you may even know of some of the members. anyway, we were pretty strict about not letting men into the group- you could only be accepted if another woman recommended you, etc.
anyway, everyone knew the list-mistress (the woman who ran the group) and she was really nice, but frankly, not very strong so i assumed she was a bodybuilder. I saw pics of her and she was pretty, slightly bulky but not much and had slightly big traps and shoulders.
so one day, someone on the list said that a client she trains was having a hysterectomy because she was changing into a man.
I, of course, asked if she'd get to see the man made penis and kept asking what it looks like, etc.
the group got oddly quiet.
then the list-mistress sent me an email, asking if i knew anything about plastic surgery. said she wouldn't ordinarily get any, but.. she has her "special circumstances".
I asked what were they and she said "well you know... the whole 'i used to be a man' thing".
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...
