Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I have a Valentine ONE. Ive only gotten one ticket since I got it. I was speeding on the service drive. And the valentine ONE lite up like fireworks. Next thing I know I saw a cop in a parking lot with a radar gun . He pulled me over and gave me a speeding ticket. The valentine ONE is awesome on the expressway. It lights up, I slow down, then next thing I know I see a cop on the shoulder. My insurance would be so much higher if I did not have a Valentine ONE. I wonder if there are any better radar detectors out there. I have head about the escort. Im pretty happy with my V1 so I dont think that Im going to change.

I can't believe how good they work, based on your testimony! I'm a fucking dumb bastard for not owning one as we speak!
On a more non-dumbass note I own one(not a greg valentino) and it works okay, the thing is, the local police must have gotten some upgrades or sumthin because they don't work in my home town no more.....I've noticed smaller cities (aka not enough money to upgrade) it stilll works fine. Just a heads up

Valentine one is hands down the best..well worth the 4 bills..as for instant on...savvy drivers can rely on a "bounce" when the cop is clocking a car ahead of you...your more exposed when there is little to no traffic on the interstate ahead of you..then instant can nail you..one of my 2 tickets in 93K mostly speeding miles in my 98supraturbo came on the interstate in MIss..I was aprroaching a crest AND there was a big clump of trees betw the E & W lanes...on top of that there were no cars ahead so I knew I was approaching anambush spot nad backed down to 80..well he clocked me at 80 in 70,and ticketed me...80 in 70 won't get you a ticket in alabama

few yers at at a cop gathering, i got access to a cop radar gun. We tested out our radar detectors. My v1 BLEW the other detectors in terms of range. It light up like a xmas tree a mile away. I have one and YES it IS the best.

pamela has a RADAR detector.
I have a criminal lawyer friend with jags and fast beamers. And his favorite past time is to see how fast he can haul ass across the country. So obviously he needs the best radar detector and he swears by the valentine.

a lot of it has to do with peace of mind..a good detectro will put the edge back in your favor..over time witha good detector you will realize how often you aren't even being clocked..most sheep slow down as soon as they see ANY cop car..and yes I will watch the breaking of cars ahead of me to be more alert,but for the most part,unless jonny law is intent on an ambush,a good detector will alert you,and if you have the presence of mind to be alert about the traffic conditions..you will escape..btw,the V1 has directional warnings which will let you know form which direction the threat is coming from..additionally,it has a "bogey" counter which will inform you how many threats you are recieving..this comes in handy when you are traveling in your typical zones and know hwne your detector "falses"..(i.e. you go by a hospital and always get a 2 reading,then you go buy and get a "3" reading,be on guard)...fortunately most "revenue agents" don't give a shit to capture the savvy driver,they'll just take the easy prey
