Do you have a messy desk at work?

My desk is currently a pig sty! Papers, manuals, floppies and yellow stickies all over the place as well as stepped on peanut chunks all over the floor. I'm gonna stay late and clean it all up today. The most time consuming part is going through the papers and finding out whats important, whats trash, and what needs to be followed up on.

You wouldn't even know someone sits in my cube if my computer was off. There is absolutely nothing on my desk or even in my drawers. I swear we play musical cubes at least every 3 months so I got tired of taking things down. Everyone always asks why my cube is so empty then I see them bitch about moving everything

Yes, I have a wraparound desk so there's something on 3 sides of me. I have stuff all over - software manuals, blank CDs, two computers, network docs, protein shaker, pens, cat5 crimping stuff, etc.

Its all oil field equipment related... On myscreen is a Coiled tubing unit we designed and built here in house. I model the parts and do prints etc..

I have two desks in my office, one small behind this one were I like to work when I want to stay away from this desk (because it has a pc and internet so it's a big distraction), but I usually put all the papers and crap on it so it's always crowded and I rarely work on it.

It`s pretty cluttered, but I clean it up once in a while. I`m cleaning my whole house right now. It took me 2 hours to clean my Bedroom and bath only. lol But I do a really spotless job when I`m done. Like detailing a car. lol Got many rooms left. damn!!!11

my desk has not been very organized lately which is a sign to me that i really dont give a rat's ass. this is not a good sign. the other day i couldnbt find one particular document and i flipped and started throwing shit into the garbage without knowing what i was throwing away.
