does it change the way you make payments? having shares of the fund instead of just strait cash? i am assuming they just liquidate the shares and transfers are made narmally

fuck paypal. once you have some money in your account from stuff you sold and you go to withdraw it they put a hold on it and claim that your account was involved in fraudulent activity. paypal is good if all you do is buy stuff but do not keep any money in there, they will always come up with a reason to hold it. google paypal scam, you will be shocked at the stories that come up with paypal stealing peoples hard earned money because they claim fraud.

I never leave a lot of money in it, few hundred at the most. I like the convenience of making quick on-line payments for goodies. I wouldn't buy half the shit I do if I had to fill out an envelope, stamp it, and mail it off with payment.

Money market thing is ok, unless you are dodging the IRS.
Where else can you get 5.04%* on a super low balance like a few dollars.
It doesn't change anything, it operates the same as before.
Paypal is a good gateway, but true, you don't want to leave a high balance.
I only had one guy use his moms credit card, and she complained, and then they did lock the account for a few days, it is stupid the phone attitude they give you, like you are a criminal or something.

i was an early paypal member...use it for 99% of my purchases off ebay.

dunno about selling on ebay with paypal...they keep going up on their rates.

yes, a little, but it's the way most people want to pay and i don't have a secure server to accept credit cards. plus, i don't sell on line enough to worry about it.

if i can take a check, i prefer that way (or cash in person, obviously)

I've only used paypal to buy stuff.
One time the product I paid for never arrived, and the seller wouldn't answer emails, so I complained to paypal and got a full refund.
I won't buy anything off of eBay if they don't accept paypal, it's just to much of a hassle to pay any other way.
