protect your girlfriends sometimes? Do you do things that are innocent in your eyes but lie about it because you know your girl will flip out? I do, it's stupid shit though, like did you go to a strip club. Is there anything wrong with that? No, but I lied about it because I didn't want to hear any shit about it. I'm a fucking good guy don't cheat AT ALL!! Well, she found out about it and now I look like the biggest asshole ahhhh...women
 
Now I'm in the dog house. Ahhhh "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" GOD...why can't I just ever have a good day? THis is bullshit cuz now I'm pissed at her for going behind my back. Aren't relationships fun? Now she thinks I'm a big fat..I mean muscular liar about everything I bet. I guess I had that coming

Well, what do you do when you really like a girl, but it's like you have to lie about somethign like that...because she wouldn't accept it.
 
apologize and tell her why you tuhought it neccesary to lie in the first place... maybe work some stuff pout for the better in the long term.
 
I know I shouldn't lie because it really doesn't benefit her. Because then I am saving her from realizing that its no big deal
instead it cames back and kickes me in MY ass for lying. Ahhh...
why do I realize these things AFTER the fact. I just didn't want her to get hurt. But just like you said before saint...brutal honesty. I have to learn that trait more

I know I am not a guy, but, you should never have to lie about anything big, e.g., to 'protect' your girlfriend. I can see some situations, where it might actually be protecting them, but I don't see how you were 'protecting' your girlfriend in this case.

I would've flipped out too if I found out my bf was lying to me about going to strip clubs despite knowing how I feel about them ( i don't approve of going except once in a while as a 'crazy' thing to do, and I would prefer not to date anyone who frequents them). But if despite knowing all that, he kept going to the strip clubs, and lied to me about it, I would be pretty mad that he did not think enough of my opinion to allow me to make my own decision about whether I will learn to accept the fact that he goes to strip clubs and live with it, or dump him because I think it is too sleazy.
 
now you've got go through the whole "you broke my trust" phase. boy that sucks.

strip clubs are no big deal, you should have told her about it. and if she really has that much of a problem with it go find another girl. now she's really going to be unhappy about strip clubs because she'll associate you lying with strip clubs.
 
The last time I went to a strip club was....uhhhmm..yes that long ago...I think it was like...'99. And i went a couple of months ago ONCE. And I really hope that sleazy comment wasn't directed towards me. I don't think she would have accepted it if I told her I was going. Because it would have turned into something like, you did something despite what I wanted you to do. So I just wanted to avoid the confrontation. I went once and I don't plan on going again. My friend was down here from college and we wanted to take him to one since he's never been to one before. I've seen enough tits and ass in my life time and seeing naked women is no big deal to me. I went simply to show a friend a good time. I was even playing pool when I went ;)

My highly biased opinion is...if she wouldn't accept something that is a part of you...then she is not accepting you. Maybe it is not meant to be...

Lying benefits no one...ever. All it does it hurt someone. Either you, her, or both of you together. If you felt the need to lie about it, then subconsciously you thought it was a big deal going to that strip club...especially knowing that she probably wouldn't like it. I can see how you figured lying might get you somewhere in this situation...but like you said...you definitely need to learn some brutal honesty.

If you really want to be able to go and just have fun...talk to her about it....see if she will go with you...there are many other ways besides lying. I am the type of girl that could care less if you go to a strip club or not...with or without me...because I would trust you. Now...how DO you expect her to trust you when you have lied to her? See...it just goes round and round in circles. I would have been mad, too, if I had known that my bf lied to me about that...or even something very very little. I have NO patience for that.

I think it is ridiculous that some chics are so insecure that they force you into lying to them.

It happens. And it really isn't entirely the guys fault.

I have a buddy that got married two months ago. So now she has him by the balls... real bad. He always has to hide shit from her, constantly... when I talk to him about it, he just says it's not worth it.

I don't see the big deal in going to a strip club, the fact that you hid it is what makes it sketchy....next time just tell her "Hey im going to a strip club with the boys" and she can get over it

That's the whole point though Taps. No chic of mine would feel the need to lie to me about it. Nor would I feel that way towards them. If I did, I could easily tell the relationship wasn't going to work.

I think that is the only decision to make. While it may be hard to leave a chic that you are infatuated with... it'll never be easier than it is today, and it will be much harder in 5 or 10 years from now, when financial or children burdens begin to tie a couple together. That is when you are left with the decision to either stick it out, deal with the raging bitch for the rest of your life because you have become somewhat comfortable... and winding up being a middle aged old man spending all his time in the garage hiding out, fixing everything but his life and marriage just to avoid the bitch. All the while thinking, 'what would my life be if I'da left the bitch years ago.'

Too many people go through life unhappy because they rush into things so quickly, and by the time they realize they are unhappy, they often realize, or think, that it is too late to do anything about it.

So usually, they do their best to drink themselves to death, usually by large quantities Schlitz.

You now if you lie...you are suppose to make sure that you cover your tracks. :)

Unfortunately, when someone discovers that they have been lied to it makes the situation appear 10 times worse than it really is...and it also makes a person wonder what other things they have been lied to about.

But on the other side of the coin, it seems as though when people lie, it is because they feel they have no other alternative, or know that the truth will cause senseless confrontation and grief.

I'll never lie to a certain girl again. I did it a couple times to protect her from some bad things I did. Shure enough someone I thought I could trust to not tell her and told her. I got mad at him, we fought, she was then mad for both things. I learned my lesson. This happened back in high school. Haven't lied since. She was a really good friend too. My second best friend. Lived next to me too. Haven't lied since.

Yeah, we spoke about it last night. I'm not in the dog house anymore, and I don't think she DOESN'T trust me. I think she understood why I lied.

Yeah before pics definately would have been nice too. I just thought fuck it!!! Damn bro I wish I would have. I was 244 down to 215 now. I would have been able to appreciate it more. Ohhhh well next time..... But yeah updated pics would be good. ;)

BTW - im eating alot more normal for a bit bro. No more extreme dieting. On the plus side though I have not lost any strength since dieting. I might go off thermogenics to allow my receptors a break and then hit it up again. ;)
