Cuz I'm fawning over my new microwavable food container set and Magic Bullet blender knockoff thingy from JC Penney.

I'm making meals for the week and the big container is perfect for storing one of those pre-made salad bags.

Im workin on my 2nd magic bullet blender. It gets used daily! And last time i was at Sam's Club i saw a 42 piece tuperware set. Yeah, my girlfriend told me i had to calm down from the excitement! LOL. I use those daily too. Oatmeal, chicken, eggs, you name and it fits in one of those things!

i do and i like to shopping for household stuff too, like new sheets, decorations(love shopping for paintings, vases, bowls, plants, flowers, anything pretty i can find! i also love going to antique shops!

I can see why women would get excited over the Magic Bullet. Didn't know they made a blender though...

I like looking at kitchen and bedroom stuff; not real big on living rooms. I can't decide there. Absolutely no plants. If I never see another plant it will be too soon.

i thought i made a post here but apparently not.

anyway, i get extremely excited about kitchen "stuff". i consider myself a (very) amateur chef and take immense pride and joy in cooking. i'm relatively "old school", so try to use as little machinery as possible (e.g. i use my chef's blade to chop, not a fucking plastic doooohicky). i'm in the market for a new chef's knife and couldn't be happier about it. just realized that i can use my AMEX points for one and they have pretty much every brand you could ever ask for. might go shun. gotta try some out soon.

i was in marshall's yesterday shopping for new wifebeaters (got some grey ones too, mix it up a bit) and took a gander thru the home goods section (love that shit). then, out the corner of my eye, i done seen it. a small saute pan - wait for it - painted red white and green on the bottom with a red handle!!!!!!!!! omfg!!!!!rtttteeeeeheeee.!* i bought the shit outta that motherfucker. gonna hang it up right above the stove.

Solid. My sister bought me a sweet plateware set when she was stationed in Italy. It's in my parents attic because I don't trust them to ship it safely. I want a set of Calphalon cookware.

COSTCO has awesome prices on Caphalon cookware. I got a set before the TX meet up last summer. I love the foodsaver that seals stuff in heavy plastic after sucking all the air out. Plus knives are always exciting to buy.

I get stuff all the time for the kitchen got to have kitchen gear!

My husband and I BOTH get all tingly in our neitherregions at kitchen stuff, him more so with cooking, me with baking stuff.

I have to say for anyone who loves to bake you HAVE to pick up one of those silicone sheets for rolling out dough and cookies. I was VERY skeptical to say the least. I'd always used my mother's wooden cutting board but it's still in my sister's garage wrapped in bubblewrap. Forgot to ship it when I was back in Jersey in Oct last year. So I'd been taping wax paper to my marble island. What a pain in the ass that was! So for like 20$ my husband talked me into getting the silicon sheets. Can I just say they are fucking AWESOME!!! Lightweight and it is even marked so you can more easily judge how far to wroll your dough for pans.

I am really REALLY irritated though because my sister lost my mother's rolling pin (all I want from my mother is her cutting board and rolling pin). I had NO IDEA how difficult it would be to replace. Apparently they don't make them in the states and I'd not seen one online. I suppose I will have to wait until I take a trip back home to pick one up. I am a near cripple in the kitchen without a proper rolling pin.

Does anyone know where I can get one? It's one piece and cylindrical in shape but wider at one end tapering down at the other, sorta like a baseball bat. All Magyars used these. Surely there must be others who do as well.

i love buying living room room stuff. no plants? why not?! i have them all over my place, of course perfectly and strategically placed in certain areas. i don't think i can live in a place too long without getting some kind of plant in there, real or synthetic.

Because my roommate overdoes everything. She has so many plants they completely prevent you from getting within 3 feet of the living room window. It's just pointless.

after years of hand chopping up the Garlic cloves, carrots.onions, celery and bay leaves for my Marinara sauce I broke out the food processor they wife got as a wedding gift.....HOLY FUCK is this invention a miracle.

turned about 20+ min of chopping into a whopping 5 seconds.

The kitchen is the only room I really invest much in. I absolutely love being in Williams Sonoma, even though they're ridiculously overpriced. I'm kind of excited because I have to but a bunch of shit to replace what the raging pigslut took. I need a new earthware braiser or dutch oven, a new 8" frying pan, and a couple of new knives. I may just go ahead and get a full set of global steel. <*boner*

Sweet Jesus, do I hate chopping. The main reason I don't cook fancy more often is because I hate chopping veggies so much.

Trust me...invest in a food processor.....I threw all that shit in there at once...hit "Pulse" and was finished.

and to think it had been sitting still in its box unopened for over a year...I thought it was going to be too much of a hassle to mess with. Now it has its own counter dedicated to it.
