Do you get along with you siblings?

I lost my brother about 7 years ago. We were best friends and we always did something together every week.

I have friends who don't even speak to their brothers and sisters ... I find that pretty odd.

My little sister and I passionately hated one another up until a couple of years ago. Now we're best friends. She's 23.

I have a li' bro and lil' sis! I hold them up high on a pedestal. They mean the world to me! :Chef: :tuc:

The older we get, the less we talk. 7 of us...kind of a drag. I have one loser brother that I haven't spoken to or even seen since like 1992...no big loss though, he's an idiot. Other than that, we all pretty much get along.

I am the oldest of four and I moved away (they all live in NY). I go home about once a month and we all talk by phone and email several times a week.

I would be distraught if I lost a sibling. I love them all so much.

I chat online sometimes with my nieces and nephews in college...damn, I ask them computer questions, remembering the times when I would spell words with them on the refrigerator with magnetic letters before they even started school!!

My sister is my other best friend. My brother and I aren't close because of the 11 year age difference, but I love him. Besides my parents, they are the only family I have.

You're getting old bor. It's almost over for you ... better go rocking chair shopping.

I have three sisters(I had all the good toys to myself growing up) I dislike but still love my older sister and I totally get along with my two younger sistes. I think my older sister has mental problems she inherited from my dad.

My oldest sister is heaven sent, We went thru alot together, there were times we hated each other but we eventually became best friends. Now, I rely on her alot for support.

Both my younger sibling rely alot on me, My youngest sister lived with me for years, I basically raised both of them, so yes we are very close but the bond is different.

i love my sister to death.. we are completely different.. we're identical twins but i couldnt imagine a day going by without talking to her

Im the baby of 3...we are all very close...we stick by one another through everything and also give straight up honest opinions to each other... no sugar coating...and we all gracious accept it because we know it comes from the heart.

I'm the oldest by 4 years, my two bros are two years appart from each, so big gap between and them growing up. I mostly tortured, beat them up and stuff of that sort growing up. At about 17 or so I realized that some peopel grow to hold grudges over that kind of shit, I decided that I'd rather be their friend than have them grow up to hate me so I started talkign to them. We aren't best friends but we currently sharea 3 bedroom appartment with no majo quarrels so far.

I also find it strange that people have family members out there that they haven't talked to in years.

Can't y'all come to an agreement not to talk about religion at all?

My brother doesnt actually undertsand his religion.. he isnt very smart.. and is very much a follower.

Its like talking to a cult member.. I literally have NO respect for "born agains" and will have nothing to do with them.

I have 2 younger sisters, and I get along pretty well with both of them. I'm pretty close with my immediate family.

My brother, who is 2 yrs older than I, tormented the hell out of me growing up. Didn't want anything to do with me & yet I idolized him. We get along good now. We don't see each other as much as we should, or talk, but that seems to be the way in our family.

Just me and my younger bro, Im 31 hes 27. We talk on the phone and see each other when we get together with parents but he is VERY antisocial and possibly has some sort of deep seated issues with me. I dont think he has a problem with me because of something bad I did but I think he is intimidated by me and how Ive lived my life in comparison to his. So its hard for him to be comfortable in his skin around me, so to speak. We also dont have a much in common anymore which makes it hard to find common ground. I hope this will change because hes my only bro.

I've talked to my sister twice today. It would have been more times if she was currently employed and awake.

Well for the 3rd she promised to keep the bag over her head.

He offered her one more to make the bed but she was too lazy.

Mine's currently "funemployed". She seems to think my parents are cool with her hanging out at their house playing online all day. She's going to wind up homeless. lol

I am the baby I have an older brother and we get along great. I don’t talk to him or see him as much as I would like but he means a lot to me be lost without him. I also have an older step-brother that I am pretty close to as well. I have a step-sister to but sadly she has very little to do with the family she is still not over her parents divorce that happened well over 20 years ago. Really is to bad cause for the most part are family is pretty tight nit.

I've had no contact with anyone on my mother's side of the family since 1976. There were a lot of uncles, aunts and cousins and I don't even know who's dead and who's alive. All because of the acrimony between my mom and her brother, which came to a head when their mother died.

I had a brother, seven years older than me, who dropped dead almost ten years ago. We got along okay, but weren't close, and never hung out together apart from family gatherings.
