Do you ever have times when it feels like NOTHING is going right in life?? Life was up and perfect for so long and now just bad luck after bad luck. Fuck!

I know thanks for the reminder. :heart: I do feel bad complaining when I know others have way worst things in their lives going on than mine. I guess I just haven't had so many bad things happen to me in a short time in awhile. I am just stressed out and concerned for my future. I just have to vent sometimes to let it all out. Thank you guys for helping me feel better. I :heart: you guys.

Just be thankful for the things you have. things can always be worse. I've had some shitty situations happen, but refuse to let it get to me. It's weird cause bad times always come all at once it seems. I'm sorry to hear your still going through stuff. I wish the best for you and just know things will change.

After 21 years of a lot of misery, the last 8 years being an unimaginable hell my life has FINALLY turned the corner. I am no different than you...

Bad things happen to good people - we all get knocked down, that doesn't make us special - that is just life. What makes you special is if you keep getting back up. :)

Thank you! One thing is for sure I am not giving up. I will continue to fight. I just feel tired right now that is all. lol If something else happens I am just like "what now". It's like what was said it seems like when something bad happens it is usually a number of things at once. I am definitely being tested right now.

It all comes in cycles... but yeah... I know... took a class last summer that impacted my world view that one can change their own reality, through an altering of perception and deconditioning patterns, however, shit I can't put it into practice or move past the conceptual level... but yeah it sucks when a you are cloaked in a fog of sorrow,anxiety, or worry or whatever... :worried:

There is no such thing as truth, but only perception. So perception IS reality.

And why you should never allow the perception of others decide YOUR reality. Why would you?

If you are tired, then rest. Worrying is NOT resting. Clear your mind and give your worry over to fate. Remember, there are no accidents, that everything happens for a reason and just because you don't know the reason at the time (or EVER) that does not make that reason any less valid.

You will be fine, one way or another. And that is because you make it so.

Two things though which I covet more than knowledge that a phd can drop on me is common sense and experience... experience galvanizes common sense... common sense is the foundation for genius... in a real sense common sense is genius... I can tell that those 21 years galvanized these 2 things into a fucking rock for you and am happy it has paid off. 21 years and then another tour of duty for 8 years or some shit like that 98%, would've given up, so props to you as well for making it through that. :)

Hehehehehehe I just had an exchange with a shrink who is doing yet another psych eval for me. Could you imagine prefacing a statement to such a person in that type of situation with, "Either we are two fairly intelligent, somewhat rational adults OR we are BOTH nuttier than a fruitcake..."

He cracked a smile, but didn't bust out laughing (though I could tell he wanted to).

i've had a black cloud over my head for a year and a half.

things will be good for a minute and look to get better and it'll all come crashing down in my face and i'll be off worse than before.

Yes , I live close to Orlando Fl . I have gone to over a dozen back ground extras and casting calls. Was in 2 low budget movies ( cable bullshit ) every one of my scenes was cut. Did some background standing around bullshit.
Long days arriving at 7am and standing around pretty much doing nothing for 10 hours and getting paid 75$ and wasting a saturday. Just went to a fitness model casting call , Was told I was way to big but they could use me in the back ground so I sat around all fucking day to walk around and look like I was having a good time with strange fuckers food was shit fucking nasty ass dominos pizza .My biggest spot was a commercial for the new seaword aquatica amusement park. They shot me comming down a slide and in the wave pool. Ofcoarse nether one made it in the commercial. I spend money on 3 spray tans at 15$ a pop , freash haircut plus busting my ass to drop water for the commercial.

Thanks sweetie!! It does just suck though when things keep knocking you down. I went to bed last night to watch tv and hubby could tell I was down. He told me to smile and that we had each other and that we would both never give up. Usually I am his rock, but lately he has been mine. I support him a lot, but he helps keep me positive when I just can't see the positive in all the bad things that is going on.

Yep, let's see. Someone smashed my car in the parking lot and drove off. My insurance didn't cover my son's ear surgery, and now I owe $4500 for a 5 minute surgery. Someone is suing me on a credit card that was my ex-husband's which I never signed on. That, I can handle because I can get it dismissed, but I still have to take the time out to dispute the suit now. Oh, and the IRS basically stole my tax refund from me, which was going to be substantial this year by going back and disallowing my head of household status and exemption from 2005 when my mom lived with me and I claimed her as a dependant. (She was terminally ill). BASTARDS!

I know the feeling about the dependent and taxes , My brother was in rehab for 6 months 5 days and going through major phyco evaluation 6 months after. When He was out he stayed with us. I gave him money for the food every week in the clinic for 6 months also.
A Tax guy said yea sure write off all the medical bills ( rehab cost )and declare him a dependent on us that year, Irs said no no . Now we owe money my brother is working hard to pay my wife , I and my parents back every cent we lent him while he took a year off to clear up his life.
But it is a burden on us now as far as IRS goes.

I hear you, The last 8 yrs of my life has been about getting "hit" over and over. Serious shit too. My attitute went from happy to total despair and negative.
When things knock you down, just know (and I truly believe this), the universe will keep knocking you over until you find the right path.
For every hardship comes strength you can never gain from a book or therapy.
Sounds strange, but embrace the hardships and they flow a little easier.
Kudos to your man for keeping you positive. We all need someone like that in our lives
