Do you ever break into tears when hearing a certain song???

kansas -dust in the wind....that is my favorite song of all time and I cant help but cry my ass off when I hear it.

How do you get that lonely-by Blaine larson,basically because it reminds me of a time when I was as low as I could go,I had a shotgun in my mouth and was ready to end it all.

Glad I didnt because 1,It was over a woman and she turned out to hurt me more than anyone ever could,and I realize she didnt give a shit about me at all

p.s...never will I cry over a female (unless she passed away) , that song Dust in the wind just makes me think of my family and people I love dying. The day i sit there and cry over someone leaving me is the day I put a shotgun to my face.
 
I need more than a song to start crying; i.e. thinking about a specific time in life when the song's playing.

well yea, i shoulda clarified that....I never make it one minute into that song without thinking about a family member passing...thats why i cry.

trust me bro I learned,but it wasnt her leaving it was me then regretting it,but things turned out 1000 times better now then they ever were with her

honestly though. its a heavy metal song but it dont matter how a band plays a song aits all about the words. listen to

killswitch engage-Rose of Sharyn and tell me thats not a sad song. i really love a heavy metal song that can be so meaningful.

Only one song. It was from a video game that I played years ago. The song occurs when one of the characters died in the game. When I first heard that song, my grandfather died that morning and my then gf broke up with me in the evening.

Everytime I hear that song it brings me back.

Damn, that was a bad day. I have those days too but not that bad. I got a speeding ticket going to work one morning. I was trying not too be late. When I got to work, I still managed to make it on time, however, the boss called me into the office and fired me. Damn, if they could have just called and fired me by phone it would have saved me the speeding ticket. Anyway, that was off topic.
 
Oh yeah, about the song. Micke and the Mechanics "In the Living Years" makes me tear up every time. If you don't know, it's about a guy who has had problems with his father and now his father died and he didn't get a chance to express his love for him.

Man, I think I'm going to go call my old man.

I don't think guys will admit to this openly.... but I'm sure quite a big part of the male population is moved and saddened by a certain signficantly meaningful song.
 
the scientist by coldplay... its pretty weird... the song reminds me of a specific time in my life and gets me every time i hear it. its a pretty good song.
 
when i hear "pictures of you" by the cure, i dont quite cry,,but it definitely brings forth a lot of emotion..

something about the lyrics "if only i thought of the right words,,,i wouldnt be breaking your heart"...makes me think of a girl i once loved.
 
My youngest son died recently (2 months) and everytime I here Kenny Chesney's "There goes My Life" I break the fuck down and cant control it.
