I do believe in the Trinity, though definitely do not believe it is a requirement or some big deal. I might abandon that as time goes on but I'm not there yet. There are solid reasons not to believe and I will admit that.
Here is what I think: The Word created the universe. Jesus Christ is the "second" Adam. Adam was called THE Son of God, too.
So, the Son of God was there and they did create us in their image (Jesus) but it was The Word that created the something from "nothing" (I'm putting that in quotes because I don't believe it was nothing) and that something that was there before it all "began" was metaphysical, immaterial and timeless etc.

the bible isn't really all that clear. Some say when you commit suicide you're trying to play God by taking your own life. I think suicide isn't a ticket to hell. It's a sickness and takes lives, but ultimately God loves you and cares for you.
So Mitch's belief is that suicide, though a vary selfish act for all those on earth that have to heal from the loss, will one day be in heaven with all family once again if they choose to be there.

i guess i look at it as a selfish act, cause they decided to opt out instead of getting some help and working through it. So family has to suffer over that decision, and deal with the hurt and pain. dads are now single dads and have to raise kids on own.
for instance. I have a friend that his mom committed suicide. I feel it was selfish of her to do that. cause now the kids have to be raised without there mom. she could have got help. But I also understand that those who deal with this feel there is no hope. So eh, suicide is just a tough subject.

So if you believe in the Trinity, then you believe Jesus is God and therefore he is the Creator, right? He was/is the "Word", according to scripture.

No. The Father and The Spirit existed outside of time and space and so did The Son. The Son took on human nature and became Jesus Christ. The Son with this human nature (Jesus Christ) was not the Creator but The Son (his divine nature) was. No one teaches (that I know) Jesus Christ was hanging around outside time and space creating stuff, like in the FSM parody the FSM would be creating stuff and being a "god". No one teaches an old man is hanging out in the clouds either FWIW. Though, I could be mistaken. Lol.
So Jesus wasn't the creator, but he was the creator? I'm not asking about which form he did the creating in (though that would lead us into a different discussion on the Trinity - seems you believe in three separate beings/forms/whatever you want to call them).

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

That was my context in posting that Jesus wasn't the Creator in relation to the FSM being a material, physical thing. Jesus was also a material, physical human and in that state couldn't have been the Creator. The Son, the divine nature that took on human nature and became Jesus Christ was in that verse:

But whenever a king sends a servant, (or his "hand") to another land to deliver a message, etc., it is viewed the same as if the king himself were there. When that ruler is addressing whom the king sent it is as though they were addressing the king.

what's cool is arguing about a bunch of shit that PEOPLE made up... and pretending one PERSON is right and another PERSON is wrong because certain holy PEOPLE know the truth... just make the shit up as u go LMFAO it's fuckin sham ass joke, and I can't believe anyone could take WORDS in a BOOK written by PEOPLE so serious that they think it explains the entire universe... if GOD wrote the book don't you think he would've hooked some niggers up with some knowledge that was ahead of their time? like maybe tell em "hey before yall get all butthurt that you aren't the only fuckin living creatures in the universe, there's also billions of other stars and planets just like yours!"... but no obviously, all he had to get across about this entire universe was "hey, just make sure you accept jesus into your heart by saying the magic words so you can get into heaven and not burn in hell for eternity!" cause obviously, that was the whole point of this whole fukn mess of an existence.. good idear!

Here is how I see it: At this point where I'm at, the bible has too many patterns of three for me to brush off a trinity w/o serious thought about it BUT if I have to change my thinking to line up with what the bible says then so be it.
Now, I believe the bible is The Word of God and pure in every way, and absolutely perfect in every detail. To me, that is another pattern of three, you have the OT and the NT then you have The Word (Jesus Christ, The Son that put on humanity) that completes the bible (i.e. the truth from it can't be "unlocked" w/o JC) I see each part of those three natures being God but none of those three ARE a trinity which is God; a trinity. The nature of God.
However, I have taken no creeds and I see no reason for anyone to have to come to any conclusion about the trinity and its "unity".

1. Actually, I'm more so saying, that me being a PERSON, I don't believe i have authority over the universe irregardless of it being god's universe or not.. and for people to argue they do, they're kinda trying to ridiculize the universe
