I don't believe that you have one soulmate, but that there is a very small group of people that you realy connect with, and you can feel it the second you meet them.
God made it this way instead of having just one incase I'm born here and she is born in India or some entirely different culture/place that makes the chances of us meeting extremely slim.
But of course, if you do have one soulmate, you are destined to meet them i suppose. I'll get back to you in 60 years. Have you seen "What dreams may come" ?

I believe that there is someone who is right for us at a particular point in time and circumstance in our lives.
Had i been married at 21, that particular person would probably have been totally different to the person i'm likely to meet now at 30, because i'm at a different point in my life.

There is no such thing as soul mates, only ideal matches. For every person on earth there is obviously at least one person who they would make a flawless match which, givin the total population of the world in billions though I doubt a percent of a percent ever find them. Although most people get married and such after finding a good match, there is for sure hundreds more people out there who would be a much better match, and make them happier in the long term but they will never ever meet them because of timing, location and hundreds of other variables.
When the divorce rates are in the majorities than you can safely assume that people are not finding there compatable matches very well. I myself have been trying another stratagy by mass collecting women off the black market and most recently e-bay to try and find my ideal match, with no avail so far exept for last week with this Russian midget hermaphrodite, she is a delightful hooker named Natasha and so far we have been connecting real well.

People come in and out of your life as you into and out of theirs and we tend to want to see them as soul mates but they come in all ages and both sexes. Is there someone for everyone out there? I believe so. Everyone can find someone that makes them reasonably happy, someone they fall in love with.
To me....a soulmate is something much more profound. When you meet a soulmate, even if you don't end up spending your life with that person, that person will never truly be away from you. Somehow, some way, that person will always be able to find you. You will never fall out of love with that person, despite what may change in your life.
You will love a soulmate like no other in your life, and a soulmate can make you ache like no other.

but also the excitement of the journey. It truely is a doubleedged sword, but its all in how you attack it, if you are looking for your soulmate the likelihood of finding him/her is much slimmer then letting things flow and going with it.

its all based on perspective. It is also another thing when one person truely is in love with the other but the other doesnt feel the same way. That is 9/10 how someone says "this used to be so and so" group effort not just one person holding the relationship together.
