My 3yr old Nephew just recently starting talking with an imaginary friend who lives in their basement...Joni is her name..she told him a story ..that she was a little girl who was killed in the basement and she lives there now...It seems a little elaborate for a 3 year old to make up as he really doesnt know what death is or girls for that matter...
 
I don't believe in ghosts, but the story you just told is freaky if true. I'd probably be moving out of that house. Perhaps set up a camcorder in the basement first though.
What if the camcorder caught the boy carrying a conversation with nobody else visible. :worried:
 
I usually dont beleive in that either..but hes 3
and how could he come up with a story that detailed...I mean...they tried to keep him out of hte basement and he got mad cause they locked the door and was crying that Joni couldnt get out..
 
Its normal ; at 3 their imaginations are very very very active. Could he have seen a movie or something?

Cause that one always puzzled me. I always felt like it was ridiculous for a person to believe in a figure who rose from the dead, appears to human beings in strange forms and has magical powers but not believe in ghosts/aliens/whatever.

Just doesn't make any logical sense whatsoever to me.

It would be normal for a person who belives in Jesus and god to not belive in ghosts because your soul cant be "stuck" on earth according to the bible. You are either in your body alive ; or alternatively ; with god or not with god after death.
 
Im not sure what i beleive when it comes to god...but Einstein said it best...Energy is everlasting it never goes away it just changes...or something like that...and we are made up of energy...so when we expire..Our energy has to go somewhere...

this shit hits way to close to home being i am in this freaking haunted house and waking with slashes and bruises. Doors open and close my dog gets thrown on the basement in the middle of the night. I am the only one that it messes with though. Everyone thinks im crazy... which, I am... but thats a different kind of crazy.
 
I believe in spirits but not that the ghosts of people still remain. I also believe in aliens. I mean, to think that we are all alone in the universe is a little arrogant!!!
 
I lived in an old hospital turned into a frat house in college. I guarantee you that spirits/ghosts are very much alive and well in some places. I had too many experiences to count, hundreds. Funny thing about it all, I never had a scared feeling, just the opposite, almost a calm when i was alone in this 3 story house. They, the ghosts, used to play pranks on me and I know they thought it was funny to watch me. My keys would move off my desk and I'd have to look all over the damn place to find them right where I'd put them after looking forever for them. They'd knock my boooks off the desk and shit would go everywhere. I'd be studying and here someone walk to my door but not knock or open it, finally I'd get up expecting someone to be there and there wasn't.
You could hear people, what sounded like 15-20, down on the first floor and I'd go down expecting to see my frat buddies coming home, nobody would be there, and it was on an acre of property so it's not like they could get in the car and leave w/o being seen. Also, from time to time you could hear the cry of a baby, it had a maternity area. Many, many more. but as I say, I always though of them as "friendly" and they were. Sometimes when i would be studying for a big exam, they would feel like fucking with me, making noise, falling books, etc and I would get pissed as it was hard to concentrate and I'd yell, "hey, I have a test, CUT THAT SHIT OUT!" and they'd stop...

all that is the gosphal truth, I'd take a lie detector anyday....

i have this one place i put my keys and my money... and its everyday i go to find them and they are in my purse kinda like a get the fuck out... I turned the oven and stove off and then I smell something... Door opens and closes...

This is a very old home from the Civil War. I am not scared in a fear kinda way but its crazy weird and so I sit here and taunt it. I've yet to see anything but I hear everything. I also have said STOP THAT SHIT and i am good for a few hours and right back at it.

Yes. I've talked to too many people that have seen things. I don't believe they're all lying... I go out of my way to ask such questions and have talked to many, many people about religion and spirits and their experiences.

youd be flabberghasted at how active the imagination is of a 3 yr old. they think up bizarre things in that little mind of theirs/ if they were adults youd think they were psychotic lol

most little kids will report an imaginary friend along with an intricate story behind it.

one of my favorite stories, after a party I had gone home with some chick and was getting in at 3-4 AM, you know how it goes. I was looking around the place and I heard the sound of a box fan turning on in the bar area. The fan was gathering speed and getting louder, yall know the sound that I mean, and I looked around the wall to see who the hell was still up and just as I rounded the corner, the fan turned off. I sat there looking at the turning fan blades and thought that the motor may have been malfunctioning and could start a fire so I went over, with the blades were still turning, and bent down to unplug it and it was already unplugged....

there was only one way in and, no, nobody else could have done it...

My fiancee has a friend who went to new orleans and went in to this so called haunted house. They didnt see mch of anything but as they were leaving they looked back and saw a black lady in the attic window. They went to take a picture and the camera died. The figure looked at them shook her finger and said something like no way not here not now then vanished.

They went back in the house and told the people. They said, "ypu have to leave now!! there is a spirit that does not belong here." They closed up shop and 2 girls quit thier job that day.

Funny thing was their camera started working again a little later.

I've experienced some things... but this is by far the worst ever. Gosh damn Civil War Home. Mother F*cker hits me one more time its on....... LOL I'll be running my ass down the stairs straight to the Holiday Inn........ lol
