do ya'll tip on "to go" orders?

do you tip the waiter on just the amount of your "eat in" food or on the total order, including the "to go" part?

I double the tax for a tip on to-go orders. I over tip when I sit, unless I get bad service. Bad service earns double the tax.

i always tip based on the bill. . .usually 18 to 20%. . .and i almost always take something home for mom and pops (if they're watching the kids). . .never really thought about the take out part. . .thanks. . .you just complicated my life a little more

I always give a generous tip... Whether its "to go" or "eat in".....

I buy homeless people sandwich's and coffee.. Its always nice to be nice to others...
