lesssay you are eating in a sit down restaurant and you order food to go also.

do you tip the waiter on just the amount of your "eat in" food or on the total order, including the "to go" part?

I double the tax for a tip on to-go orders. I over tip when I sit, unless I get bad service. Bad service earns double the tax.

chasing around bread basket leftovers being kicked around under the tables isn't cooking, it's survival.

i always tip based on the bill. . .usually 18 to 20%. . .and i almost always take something home for mom and pops (if they're watching the kids). . .never really thought about the take out part. . .thanks. . .you just complicated my life a little more :(

I had an avi of my boobs in a victoria secret cleavage bra, but KB told me it was a granny braziere so I took it down

i just did this because one of my kids stayed home and i brought food back for him.
yes, i tip on everything- they still brought it to the table and wrapped it up.

Yep, I would tip based on the total bill.
I tip on the total bill, add the tip to the total then tip on the new total.
