I've entered a few where they say they do but don't even do it! Anyone actually get tested?
Do shows even drug test anymore?

If you are taking about bb competitions then it depends on the federation. Npc/ifbb no test (obviously) ocb/inbf they test but by using lie detection, and there are several other federations. just depends what federation you go with really

So npc really doesn't test? For some reason I thought they did. How accurate does a "lie detector" test even work? Because regular testing for the juice is not cheap

NO npc never has/will. The only way you are going IFBB pro is going through the NPC. Hell, even the bikini chicks are on juice almost all IFB pros (meaning all divisions) are on some formof gear. No idea how accurate lie detectors are

Some events are stated tobe tested events you will find the notification on the official info page of the federation , normaly is with the application form for the contestens a declaration attached that they agree to be tested .

Cheap tests r also dry chemistry tests .

Usually the all natural competitions test, NPC no...and Sean is right that they never will. There is a local show every year Silver & Black which is a natural show, and they randomly select contestants to be tested in the show, as well as the top placers. I know a guy who won the show but his test later came back positive for juice, so they stripped him of the title and even went as far as publicizing it to make an example of how serious they are about it and their show...I competed and am going to compete in NPC next year, in the masters division...you would think that most of the older competitors are on TRT/HRT anyway, but I will be running 2 separate cycles in the next year to get prepared...it will be fun!

Not sure if its NPC but its an IFBB Pro qualifier and has a Pro division....but my fiance says they are testing all the winners of TeamU this weekend in New Jersey. She said its something they never used to do and a lot of people drop out the show because of it.
It is NPC and the flyer would say if the contest is a tested competition...I will say they won't unless something has changed!
