The thread on to CHEAT or NOT got me thinking, because often people are quick to assume they will NEVER CHEAT...Never say never, not that I have ever cheated on a girl, but this notion that love is a perfect bliss that will prevent all temptations is not a guarantee. I will say that if you truly believe you will never cheat on a lover, then hold that dear because I equate the act itself as putting a gun to that persons head and pulling the trigger. If you do find yourself in the position of having wandering eyes, you owe the current partner the respect of confessing your feelings and ending the business at hand. Nothing I have said here is a prophecy of new revelations, but I once had someone look me in the eyes more stare me in the sole and say I will never cheat…

The exact same thing happened to me too bro. It was probably the most traumatic experience of my short 24 years.

My reaction was emotional detachment from all women. I began to see them only as sexual objects.

Apparently my subconscious reasoned that if I could use women and sex to appease my ego, I could then stay removed from the issues of committemt and a potential reenactment of that horrible pain I felt when my girlfirend was unfaithful to me.

Maybe I was naive before and I just learned a good lesson and grew up a little. I realized that people lie...usually those closest to us. And I learned that we always hurt those we love.

Regardless...to this day, I still avoid emotional involvement with women and use them whenever I can. I didn't used to be that way.

The sad truth is that most of them are whores and should be treated as such. Bang 'em then forget about 'em. Save your emotions for a decent girl that will deserve them. The rest of them are just sweet flesh.
