do piss tests detect aas?

got an old high school friend back home on probation for aas.....his lawyer said they'll piss test him.....um, not sure about that one? anyone?

if the crime was AAS related its pretty likely they will test for AAS (though not necessarily)

When I was on probation , I saw the papers every time I was pissed tested. It would have a bunch of narcotics from heroin, coke, meth, alcohol, roids, and quite a few others. Only some were checked(coke/weed/meth). Infact I was STUPID and got drunk the night before a random(but was told to me) test and I passed cause they never checked for alcohol.

So unless he's on probation for roid use then it's not likely they are testing him for that.

I wonderred about this myself and done some research since I had faced piss tests, antabuse or breathalyzer tests for a DUI in which I had a very high BAC. Turns out that to test for AAS is very expensive like around $100ish but I would suspect that if your drug tests were a result of a sterroid charge that they will test for it. You are the one that pays for it and the court gets a "kickback" thats the real term but regardless you will pay fpor it so if the little piss test the court makes you take is the $15/pop test you can bet NO but if they charge you an arm and a leg then your answer is yes they can catch you. Since you will be the one paying you will know. If for any other reason, DUI/DWAI then they will not test or that.

Final answer is yes they can detect it in a piss test if they test for it but you will know if you are bieng tested for it since it will cost you your firstborn

If that was what he was on probation for, then most likely. However if not, then they definitely wouldnt test him for it.

o ya if he is on fore aas he is fucked.tell him to stop takeing it right now.when it comes to aas youre first piss test is a free bee.just have him tell them look I have taken aas but I have stoped.the aas is still going to be in my sistom but the levels will go down with ech piss test I take.

they will exuse the first test but he better stop and the levels better go down with ech test.

I heard that most AAS probation tests just check out your test levels and monitor them for big increases. Some guys have higher test levels than others naturally, so as long as your test levels remain stable (or go down)after your initial test they can't tell. I knew a couple guys busted for AS that got tested weekly and never got caught because after they got popped they never went off and stayed on 400 mgs/ test a week. They did this for 2 yrs straight-their entire probation. This made sense to me cuz the last I heard an AS test costs about $300-and that's when purchased in bulk (example: like for a whole city's staff or some sports league). Most court ordered drug testing requires the person being tested to pay for his own tests. So unless your bro is forking out around $300 every time he's tested I doubt they're checking for AS-just test levels. They may not even test for anything besides the usual coke, weed, meth, but just want you to think you're getting tested for AS too. Everyplace is different based on their budgets, etc.

very true, they check levels and try to ascertain new use. Levels should be going down consistently. If you violate and try to argue, better believe they will call in a chemist who will light your ass up.
